Local Schools out for third weekend in October??

We have not been to Disneyland since 2015 for a Halloween trip. I remember crowds being heavy the weekend prior to Halloween because of school being out for a 4 day weekend. It was after Columbus Day and I cannot remember any more details! We are thinking about a trip this year and I was wondering if that is always a bad weekend. TIA!

It's UEA that weekend so all schools (and some colleges) in Utah are off and it's routinely referred to as "Utah Escapes to Anaheim." Many families get a bug to get away for a quick vacation.
I would strongly reconsider. That said... Utahns have BIG families and are not likely candidates to buy Max Pass, so if you have to go that weekend...I would strongly recommend splurging for Max Pass
