Lobster Roll.........Columbia Harbour House

I ordered it on my last trip in 2013 and liked it and would order again. Although, I don't remember it having as much mayo then as the one pictured.

I would stay 20 feet away from that, but I have texture issues and I cannot stand all but a few applications of mayo (pretty much deviled eggs and tuna fish and the mayo level needs to be minimal for me). I personally like my lobster rolls "naked" and smothered in drawn butter ;)

That looks really good!

I have to admit that I am drooling right now. Pretty sure I need to find one of these.

Have had some wonderful lobster rolls at WDW (Food & Wine and Captain's Grill) but the one at CHH ........ it was so bad I didn't finish and threw it away. ALOT of mayo and bread. I don't throw away food lightly, disappointed.

You must have hit CHH on a bad day, 3 out of 4 people in our group got one for lunch in Dec. 2015 and none of them had anywhere near that much mayo. I would not have like it either.

DS and I tried the one at F&W a few years ago and didn't like it. But something made me want to try one again when we were at Tomorrowland Terrace earlier this month and I actually liked it.

I also am not a fan of lots of mayo (maybe that's why we didn't like the F&W one?) and hardly use any when making tuna or chicken salad and this one was just right. Maybe they should call it a lobster salad sandwich, because I can see the difference from the posted pictures of the "real thing" which doesn't look like it even uses mayo. It kind of reminds me how some bar-b-que places drown their meat in sauce, but in Texas it's all about smoking the meat- if it's got a good rub and is smoked right it doesn't need sauce. I imagine it's the same with good lobster.

Boardwalk Bakery has a lobster roll that is much better. More of a traditional lobster roll, just a tiny bit of mayo if any and a piece of lettuce instead of a celery mayo lobster salad that they call a lobster roll over at CHH.

I enjoyed it, but I'm from the South US and we definitely don't really get much in the way of good lobster around here. I certainly think it can be hit or miss on the amount of mayo, etc. But I've gotten it twice this year and enjoyed it both times. Thinking I may go for fish or shrimp this next time just for some variety. If you're wanting something like these other delicious looking pictures, I think it's obvious that the CHH roll isn't that! But it's definitely not bad and better than a lot of the CS options in MK in my personal opinion.

I tried it in 2013. IMO, it was too much bread & mayo & not seasoned very well. The homemade chips were absolutely delicious, though!

I really enjoyed the one at BB much better & have gotten it both times I had the DDP. It is a really good value on the plan for a QS meal.

I was excited to order it during my trip in 2013. I was disappointed that it was basically mayonnaise soup with minimal lobster bits. On my last trip I just got the salmon and it was pretty good.

We live in CT and vacation in Maine every summer. I warned my DD against ordering the "lobster roll" at CHH a few years back and she decided to get it anyway. Most of it ended up in the trash. Way too much mayo-it should be called mayo soup with lobster garnish-not for us! We get it a few miles from our house on the shoreline-no celery-no mayo-just lobster in butter and roll.

My DH is from Nova Scotia, Canada. He liked the lobster roll at this place.

OMG!!! It was absolutely disgusting! Ugh! How dare they even call that poor thing a lobster roll. No lobster hardly, and I am afraid it was like lagastino or something like it. It was dripping with watery mayo and gross peppers. Captains Grille at the Yacht Club has an amazing Lobster Roll though.

Everyone except New Englanders seem to like it. My wife likes it (I'm allergic or I'd weigh in).
