Lobster @ Captain Jacks

Has anyone tried the lobster from Capt. Jacks? Looking for opinions on dining here.

Sorry to say but, save your $!!! There are some pretty scary pubs in London that I would go back to before eating at Capn Jacks again .

We have had excellent lobster at Captain Jacks. Have eaten there at least a dozen times and never had a bad meal.

With the exception of Sugermouse's experience, Cap'n Jacks must be the most reviled restaurant on property. I always wanted to try it because of the great location but the closest I ever got was having a shrimp cocktail and a drink there for lunch one day many years ago. You might do a search for more reviews here on the Dis, they are pretty dismal.

The place is dive. We couldn't even finish our meal.

Thanks for your responses.....I thought I'd read a few bad reviews about this restaurant. The atmosphere seems kind of nice..small, intimate, am I thinking of another place?

We were just there in July. Very disappointing! Wouldn't go back. Lunch menu was extremely small and not enough seafood selections.
