Lobby Bar at Disneyland Hotel to Become Broken Spell Lounge

Disney just announced that the lobby lounge at the Disneyland Hotel will become the enchanting Broken Spell Lounge with a Sleeping Beauty theme!

No it is where the old Steakhouse 55 was, kinda over by Goofy's Kitchen.

last month when we walked by the lounge it did not look too crowded, maybe the retheme will help

Man. We loved it there in July, we ate there twice in 3 days. I’m sad it will be another super crowded place now. Bummer.

Is this going to be a place you need to get a reservation for or is it just a bar area where you turn up and get seated if available. Also anyone know what the menu is.

This was the menu in July. It’s pretty dark in there, so not the best photo. We had the burger one time and the steak frites one time. Both were excellent. Not sure what the menu is like now that it’s re-themed.

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems the only change here is the name of the lounge. I’m actually planning to eat here on my arrival night this Saturday. Hopefully there isn’t so much hype from this that it gets super busy this weekend.

Oh, I do hope they bring it back!! That was so much fun. But hey, I'd be happy if they just brought back the restaurant at all. I have many wonderful memories there.

We asked our server about Steakhouse 55 because we miss it so much. She said it’s being used for storage right now

Crazy how they haven't brought back Steakhouse 55 or an equivalent to it. The last time I was at Disneyland (summer 2019), I had breakfast there and it was wonderful. Definitely preferred it vs. the chaos at Goofy's Kitchen.

It originally opened about a year ago simply as “The Lounge”. The menu remains unchanged. We’ve eaten there a handful of times. The food has consistently been very good. The cocktails, although expensive, are crafted and presented with great care and always excellent.
