LLMP unblock or unfreeze tier levels

Was recently at Epcot and had my 3 LL, 2 tier 2 and 1 tier 1. We used one tier 2.and then tried to book another tier 1. Mde told me I had reached the maximum so I went to a blue umbrella person who told me I could book another tier 2, but had to use the tier 1 before booking another. I was like ok
When I look at any instruction on how to use LLMP, here, on disney site, it states use 1 any tier, book another any tier

What did I miss??

Hoping this was just a glitch and not a new policy...you are correct everywhere else says you can book a tier 1 after using any tier.

Hmm, you are the first to report this issue so some additional details might help. What long ago was your Epcot visit so we can figure out what version of MDE you had, and what type of smartphone were you using; Android or Apple (iPhone or Tablet). Also what Tier 1 did you use and did everyone in your group tap into the attraction?

Also it quite possible that there was some type of communication issue at Blue Umbrella. That type of response is wrong or happened due to a recent glitch or was in the last 3 days due to a new bug in MDE 8.8 Build 20250304.1 (iOS)?

earth was down so we went to Seas and rode. Then tried to book soarin and mde said you've reached the max . Or something like that.
Blue umbrella guy was so sure of his answer that I didn't question him at all.

Only other option is that your LLMP for Seas was not processed to unlock the Tiers. Since it would have been your first LLMP tap of the day.

They are always sure even when they are wrong, and you show them how it should work. Unformatnly if you ask 3 CMs you might get 3 different answers, and 1 or none of them might be correct.

If it was not a situation where your Seas LLMP had not registered in the system to unlock the Tiers as I mentioned above, then a Glitch.

If it was a new change or limitation the DIS would be burning up with threads.

If Spaceship Earth was down, you probably received a multi-experience pass. Any chance that was taken at Seas instead of the LLMP?

It should not have been used instead of a valid Seas LLMP since it would not have priority over the regular LLMP.

I thought that @dreamscometrue47 would have mentioned it but I guess your comment would be a likely alternative but the GET CM should have been able to see that on their tablet

How do I know what version of the app I have? I am getting ready to do some booking on Sunday morning.

If you have the iOS app you can check your Apple App store account for waiting updates. However MDE now checks for updates and should prompt you to update.

Here is the long way. Open MDE, navigate to the Main menu (3 horizontal bars, lower right side). On the Main menu scroll down to the "Help" link near the bottom of the screen, scroll all the way down the Help page and Click the "About this App" link and the version information will be displayed.

The latest iOS version is 8.8 Build: 20250304.1
