we have an 8:45am Tusker ADR. Park opens at 8. Not doing EE. Is getting an LLMP worth it or is the park just too small and should still skip LLMP. we do all the attractions. appreciate opinions

LL at AK saves you time in line for Safari, Navi and Everest. Useless for anything else. Safari and Navi seem to run around 45 min lines. Since you aren’t doing EE it would be hard to knock one out before your ADR. Everest offers single rider but that doesn’t work for every group. Only you can decide if it’s worth saving the time in line. For me it is, for most people they skip LL in AK.

Are you going to another park that night? Would give you a chance to pick LLs in that park after you use one in AK.

There are very few rides currently open, so you could do all of them in a single day without LL. Depending on when you go, the lines could be 45-90 minutes for Avatar. It’s more a question of would you prefer to spend money on LL or wait in lines? Your answer is the right answer for you.

The fact that "the lines could be 45-90 minutes for Avatar" is irrelevant to the question of whether OP should buy LLMP. Avatar is an LLSP ride and not LLMP. (Maybe you already know that but some readers may not.)

Last time we were at AK we bought LLSP for FOP.

We did early entry and walked right onto Navi. Got out and re-rode Navi- no line either time. Next, we walked to Safari, waited in line until it opened, and were on the ride in about ten minutes. Walked back to FOP for our LLSP. Went to Everest-wait time about fifteen minutes. and then waited for the Lion King to start. Later in the day we had about a twenty-minute wait for Dinosaur and then watched the bird show-no wait.

This was in in early January. Slightly elevated crowds due to a marathon. I think that the EE was a trick for us.

Are you hopping somewhere else in the afternoon? Or just staying in AK?

If you're hopping I might buy LLMP because you can use it in the second park.

I like to use LLMP in AK - partially because it is our personal preference to avoid lines (we don't try to get there for EE rope drop) and partially to save time that we can use to linger on the animal trails. Last trip we used LLMP for Kilamanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest, Na'vi River Journey, and Dinosaur and LLSP for Flight of Passage. We were also planning to hop.... as PPs pointed out, Animal Kingdom LLMP is much more worthwhile if you have a second park to reserve LL in. That said, our next trip will not include hoppers and I will still use LLMP at Animal Kingdom so I will have plenty of time to FINALLY make it out to Rafiki's Planet Watch and make sure that I can easily catch all of the shows.
