LL Premier Pass is here!

Yes, this year and last also (absolute end of Oct through the first week of Nov). Granted that's Universal but I feel like the crowds ebb & flow the same at both resorts.

We booked 10/28 to 11/6/25 so hoping pattern stays same! I'm thinking 2025 may be even slower for Disney due to Epic. We hope to visit during our trip, but need to see what they do with tickets, if you can buy without a package.

The sweet spot is immediately after Thanksgiving, before the early December crowds hit. This happened last year too (I go on Thanksgiving Day and the days after) and the crowds pick up around the week after Thanksgiving. But I should probably stop telling people this :rotfl2:
Thanks for the tip… rescheduling. Just kidding, but we are looking at that week.

First week of Nov is Jersey week (still fun but SDMT was 180 mins post fireworks) Nov 4, 2023. I think it was because Jersey week and Wine and Dine half marathon both were that weekend. Fortunately next year the wine and dine is 10/23-26 (you should be good; just crowded but not as bad as 2023).

Anyone have an image to show the option for LLPP, I only see LLMP or LLSP
It will not appear on your "Home" screen like LLMP and LLSP (yes they are there now) until the morning of your 7 day. Your "Home" button is on the lower left and is an Icon of a house.

If you want' to see the actual landing screen for LLMP and then see the Calendar and even a 21 day window with pricing. Just search for Premier Pass using the search function of MDE (magnifying glass) Icon on the bottom of major screens.

I read reports it was great last year.
It was until the wine and dine started on Nov 3. So we were there for Halloween (arriving 2 days earlier and got Navi on our DAS preselects but on day 3 of our trip but not for Nov 3 (day 6 or 7). No Peter Pan for Nov 4. We checked out Nov 5.

No issues next year as the marathon and Jersey week are a week or so apart.

Is that how I'll find it to purchase at 7 days out?

Yes it should appear on the Home screen in MDE but if for any reason it does not then you will also be able to find it via the "Search" option.

You can actually navigate all the way to where you add your travel party after you have selected you day. Also on the Calendar page you are able to click the "View Pricing by Park" to see the price over the rolling 21 view and now includes Jan. 1,2025.

Note: you can only purchase for 1 day / park per transaction....

We came Monday after Thanksgiving, been packed whole time!
It was pretty quiet for us last Monday and Tuesday, but we did Studios on Monday and MK on Tuesday. It does really depend on the park, but this is our 5th time doing post-Thanksgiving and we've sort of figured out the crowd patterns and which to avoid on what days (like avoiding MK on non-party days at all costs, and Disney Springs over the weekend :rotfl2: )

This was MK on Tuesday after Thanksgiving on a party day. Lines didn't pick up until the mix-in at 4, and it was like this the Sunday after Thanksgiving as well. It is always crazy seeing Space at 5-10 minutes for a few hours straight (and Tron was down too!), last year was the same! All I could think was I wonder how many people bought LLPP that day...I think 7DMT was 35 minutes for most of the day on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. That was shocking to me! It hovered at 50 on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, still low of course.

I'll be curious to read more experiences on LLPP as the crowds really pick up for the holidays though.

We did LLPP the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. A non-party day. Crowds were big, but we had a mostly successful day! No long waits, but Tiana was down for us so we missed it. Other than that, great!

We are planning on Thanksgiving week next year. Helps to know that the weekend after is crazier than the weekend before.
I think the patterns can vary from year to year but I think a lot of Disney nerds (like me) all got the same advice that week after is so much better and decided to stick around a few extra days…so it ended up not being much better. EPCOT might also have been impacted by Festival of the Holidays starting late this year, but I don’t know how to explain AK. We actually left for a short cruise Wed-Sun (peak insanity at WDW aside from last week of the year)— I would advise checking Thrill Data for more objective comparisons by day for each park.

Just when we think we nailed it

It really is somewhat random which park Guests will pick on a particular day of the week. Did you happen to hit AK first thing Monday? Many guests treat it as a 1/2 day park and will hit it on their last partial day before heading out.

Dave
I'll give you all my formula too, if it helps. 5 trips following this and it hasn't failed me! Of course it probably will next time :rotfl2:
  • Friday after Thanksgiving - Epcot or AK (I saw the wait times for Studios were the worst on this day) - we did Epcot this year
  • Saturday - Epcot or AK - we did AK this year
  • Sunday - MK (MVMCP Day)
  • Monday - HS
  • Tuesday - MK (MVMCP Day)
The goal is to avoid MK on a non-party day at all costs, except if you have LLPP, then I think that would be a great usage of it! Do not do Disney Springs on Friday or Saturday, but I think by Sunday evening the crowds die down a lot.

My theory is that AK is a good park to start with if you go on/after Thanksgiving, because people leaving after Thanksgiving don't usually want to end their trip at AK. We did the 1st day of the Festival this year and Epcot felt dead, but the weather wasn't the greatest (a few drizzles and cold). I've swapped Epcot and AK for the Fri/Sat the past couple trips and crowds have been very manageable. MK is wonderful on the Sunday/Tuesday after Thanksgiving thanks to the parties. I think this trend continues on into December but I imagine the party days get progressively busier as more people are there in general.

Studios was super busy on the Friday, like 120 minute wait times. Makes sense that people would want to get in one last visit either there or MK before heading home. But the rest of my trip, Studios wait times peaked closer to 60 minutes. ToT even got to 13 minutes at times in the evening towards the end of my trip!

I never park hop to AK so I didn't monitor wait times too much there. For the most part Studios remained moderately busy in afternoons/evenings. Epcot lines for Frozen/Remy remain steady but the Future World wait times all dwindled down to nothing most evenings, pretty much 5-15 minutes for those by dinner time. Maybe Glimmering Greenhouses could have been the exception but I wasn't watching too close as I'm too tired to walk that far at night

I'll be honest, if Disney ever did extra premium LLPP, where you could park hop, I would consider doing it once. I've always wanted to do the every ride in all 4 parks challenge, but it sounds daunting. But with a park hopping version of LLPP...

AK is a great park to hop to after lunch. Once it hits 1 PM there are streams of guests leaving while there are only a few guests entering and by 3:30 PM everything is almost a walk-on has been our experience.

Dave
We’re doing this on 12/22 and going to Boma for dinner. I figured LLs will be in short supply earlier in the trip so avoiding staying past noon for MK and saving HS for later in the trip.
