Now the question for me is presumably selling more LLPP via additional resorts, how much will it impact the LL queues if at all?

I don't think it will impact it much at all. What they most likely will do is take it away from the multi parks pass.

They really did. It's obvious they changed to all resort guests to make money over the holidays when they saw Thanksgiving selling out.

Trips shouldn't be this anxiety ridden- not knowing until 7 days out if you can get the pass, having to change plans if you can't, ugh!

Hope you'll get your passes. I'm thinking of switching our trip from the last week of December to the 3rd week to increase our chances of getting the PPs.

People staying at deluxe resorts should be able to book earlier! Not fair that some people booked deluxe for the reason to be eligible for this pass!! do you think there is any chance they will let the deluxe book earlier than seven days out?

The value of the LLPP for me was not having to stress at 7 a.m. 7 days out when my only park day is my check-in day. I haven't been to Disney in almost a decade because I hate all the preplanning stress and sticking to a schedule, and enjoy having absolutely none of that at Universal. LLPP looked like a way to avoid that, albeit at a high cost. And if I decide it's not worth it at whatever price it ends up being or I can't get it, I have to fight for LLMP/LLSP spots. This is not making me eager to come back, Disney.

Disney...just pick something and stick with it please. And start giving some real perks.

I've never been a Disney is better than Universal or vice versa, but we booked Universal next year and we get the express pass automatically (not for Epic) with our premier hotel and it's just such an "easy" feeling to not have to worry about crap like this. And if Epic does provide some kind of pass eventually, I have a feeling it will be expensive, but not stressful like this!

Yeah, I thought for sure they'd give Deluxe an advantage when they offered it to all. Still can't believe it's already to all.
I have been debating it for July, bcuz it's so flipping hot and I am so sick of all the planning. I want ease. We always stay in deluxe, but was thinking only MK for PP, maybe HS. Staying at Pop, with the skyliner is now an option and makes the expense less. I pay for my kids and grandkids, so it'd be nice to maybe save a little.
I will see how this goes before I decide.

Likely not! Especially when their core guests would stay there regardless of additional benefits.

You should be able to buy it at check in. And yes, Deluxe and Concierge guests should have some advantage otherwise what’s the point of paying insane hotel rates?

They could have given us (deluxe guests) 12/26 or 12/27 extended hours. Instead they take away a benefit (no EETPH 12/26-12/31) and make it even more stressful to buy LLPP.

LLPP has only been available for a few weeks. People have been staying at Deluxe resorts since Disney opened their doors. I don't really see the correlation.

People will stay at Deluxe resorts because they want to stay there and are able to stay there. Very few were there just for LLPP.

I think the was a poor idea. People will now think about switching to a value or mod to purchase. They aren’t going to be able to fill their deluxe resorts even more now.

I believe they offered it to them first to try it out with a smaller demographic then when they saw how it worked, decided to roll it out to more guests. I'm fairly confident (and nothing to substantiate this, just my thoughts) that this was always Disney's plan - to roll it out slowly then let it loose to more guests. Disney makes a lot of money with this, why not offer it to more people since very few days ever sold out?

And, their plan is working LLPP had 4 sell out dates yesterday and now already has 6 -

Nov 28 - MK, DHS

I'm not in a demographic that can purchase this but I'm happy more are now eligible to purchase it. Just because I may not be able to purchase something, doesn't mean nobody should have it.

Don't forget here that Disney only started doing Deluxe only benefits post-covid. Evening magic hours were not a Deluxe only thing. Prior to this, talks like I've seen on this thread and other threads were not really there, elitisms was there from posters for sure but not about a "deserving because of price paid" aspect. Majority of the time Disney based their hotels on features of the hotel including proximity.

Don't forget that in recent years the move to off-site has occurred quite a lot as the perks for on-site were diluted. Too many perks only for one level does not help this nor does it help Disney in the profits.

First, all changes will come within a month of somebody's trip and there is no perfect way to roll-out changes without impact. Sorry it's impacting your visit.

However, LLPP was rolled out as a "pilot" program with "very limited quantities." Disney could just as easily decided to scrap the offering and you'd still be booked at the POLY. If the potential to purchase LLPP was the only reason you booked deluxe, I think you need to recognize that you booked based a possible not a guarantee. I would take the $50 hit and change to a different resort if that was your only reason for deluxe and you aren't happy with the situation.

Also, the free dining offer is no longer available so Art of Animation package with dining is costing us more than if we had booked it with free dining (15-25% room discount only for 12/21-12/25).

It’s much more than a $50 hit.
