LL Premier Pass is here!

Have you ever heard of VIP tours waiting 45 minutes before? I haven't, but it may have happened. But after about two encounters with a 45 minute wait while on a VIP tour, I would ask to get money back!
Well, that's because the tour guide would walk you to another ride if the wait is too long. So in theory, you can choose to stay put for 45 minutes, or spend 25 minutes walking around the park until you find a ride with a 20 minute wait.

Keep in mind also that the 45 minute wait wait would most likely be for top tier rides only - SDMT and maybe a ride with a special overlay; everything else would be 30 mins or less. I’ve seen tour guides wait with us in the LL for 30+ mins at FOP. Everyone was in a very cheerful mood btw (guided kept them entertained with trivia).

Genie+ started off at $15 and is now $39 over Christmas-NY.

At that rate (Disney doesn’t want more people to be buying this pass) LLPP would be $700-900 next year.

For us (party of 5) and not wanting to spend an entire day in a park with young kids and a 7-10 day trip, LLMP makes more sense.

We were in the 45 min LL line with our Genie+ when SDMT was posted 180. It’s my personal experience and I said earlier would be for only a few rides at most during peak times. This was Jersey week/Nov 4 2023. Winnie the Pooh standby was 45 mins. Main Street was at a standstill 15 mins post fireworks (never saw that before).

Paging Mr Morrow has a Christmas video where he notes the 180 min queue. Not sure why everyone thinks that’s impossible during holidays

We've done two VIP tours and the longest wait we experienced was approx. 10 minutes for SDMT. For FOP, our guide had us go through a CM-only door to bypass the backup near the second tap point.

Now that would be great if they did that for the LLPP.

We need to keep in mind that the bottlenecks above were when WDW had just started allowing unlimited park hopping after 2 pm but still had the park pass reservation system.

This year you don’t have park pass reservations so the parks are more likely to reach capacity over Christmas/NYE similar to pre pandemic (I would reference 2019).

We all speculated no one would buy LLPP and now it’s sold out around Thanksgiving. These guests are expecting the parks to be crowded. I would hope they would offer a special entrance for that price point vs someone like us who will be using LLMP most of the time.

No it is a week out and they are adjusting the schedules for next week. It often happens for Thanksgiving Week

Dave
Never been over Thanksgiving. I’ll keep that in mind to check hours before we leave (10 day trip over Christmas/NYE).

Astro Orbitor, Prince Charming Regal Carsouel, most meet & greets, shows except Philarmagic are not included. I don’t see a special entrance when LL wait is longer. Here you can’t differentiate a LLMP vs LLPP guest (vs VIP tours guided by a CM). Can only ride each ride once (VIP tours you can ride multiple times).

Positive: He was able to ride a lot (5 rides in the first hour; Tron+Space in 45 mins only; max wait standby was 50 for Tron; ST 20 min, 40 for SDMT) took almost 6 hours to ride everything (including walking), still worth it for a small party during peak holidays (if you doubled or tripled the waits VIP would be better but it has very limited availability)

I wonder why Astro Orbitor wasn’t included?

I cannot say I’ve heard of LL wait times reaching 45 mins other than the one comment in this thread. Have others experienced 45 min LL waits and if so, how often?
Yes but not very often (and we go a lot). Last time we visited in September, we waited almost an hour for Tron with LL. I've also waited for FoP in the LL for at least 45 minutes a couple of times, and once at Guardians. Oh and once at DINOSAUR, and Pooh has been close to 45 minutes a couple of times too.
