LL Premier Pass is here!

Hmm $329 or pay the normal $29 dollars at MK to do the same thing with a little more work. Yeah easy decision for me
Note it goes up to a high of $449 + tax per day at MK.
  • MK: $329 to $449 per person, plus tax
  • Epcot: $169 to $249 per person, plus tax
  • HS: $269 to $349 per person, plus tax
  • AK: $129 to $199 per person, plus tax

Pricing out a typical trip for us, based on next weeks pricing, if our family of 3 were to buy LLPP each day at the various parks minus AK, the cost would still be cheaper than a VIP tour for 1 day. Having done a VIP tour in the past, I can clearly see the value in LLPP. I have a feeling this will be big seller.

I appreciate the data being provided on pricing. I assume the data collection for LL availability will soon include premiere pass pricing and availability (if it sells out for some dates).I also appreciate the details on how to purchase.

I wish it really was 21 days ahead, because I will be on the first part of my honeymoon vacation 7 days ahead, but hopefully availability will be sufficient to make it much less stressful than trying to book LL rides.

@Boardwalk III covered the basics but again MDE is using a rolling 21 day window on the calendar view because it is possible to book for someone even if you don't qualify as of today. You are also able to see the pricing for the 21 day window.

ETA: add reference to see pricing for 21 days.

Thanks for this. I wasn’t thinking of purchasing, but when I saw the pricing at $329 I reconsidered! However, the day I would be going it is $379 so may pass - for two of us that’s $800 😬

I don’t know though… for a Saturday at Magic Kingdom on a long weekend it sure is enticing to imagine spending the day walking around without having to have a plan or look at my phone all day!

However, now my issue is that I’d have to change a few of my plans around to schedule all day at MK on Saturday. So I’d have to try to buy LLPP at 7 AM this Friday and if I can’t get it, I’d have to quickly move stuff around to buy LLMP for my original plan (incl changing a park reservation as am an AP) and that delay might make me miss some key attraction reservations. Honestly It might just be too complicated (and stressful!)

The best part for me would be the absence of the tour guide (no matter how friendly and helpful they are). I've finally realized that I'm much happier not having to make small talks 🙂.

Not sure what I was expecting 😂
I have not seen any information that they had any sellouts last week for the debut of LLPP at DLR. It is going to take time for the news of LLPP to spread to the target market. It might pickup as we get closer to the Holidays and Travel Agents have time to talk to their clients.

I am just not sure at this point how the rest of the WDW target market will hear about this since it took such a long time for any other FP, FP+, Genie+, and now even LLMP and or LLSP to be widely communicated.

Dave

Its less about the number of resorts and more about the number of rooms anyway

Universal - 2.4k Rooms - 60k park capacity
WDW - 10.4k Rooms - 330k park capacity

Just going off the basic information that is out there and I could find is generally accepted. Likely harder to deal with for Disney though since 1/3rd of that park capacity is at Epcot with minimal rides compared to size of park.

From the MDE app here are examples of pricing before tax for the four parks in early to mid November

Thanks for sharing. We get to WDW just after the end of this range… it’s interesting that Epcot goes up in price on the 20th, but Hollywood Studios goes down… I wonder if these charts are the best guide to Disney’s internal crowd projections.

There are days we might occasionally consider this at DHS, but I can’t justify it at EPCOT over $100 and $229 (especially with Test Track down) is madness.

Thanks for the info. I’m excited to book one for MK on Friday morning (for Saturday, November 9th) I had to move heaven & earth this afternoon to modify my AP park reservation however (originally had DHS booked that day) Even though Sat was showing available for MK on the park reservation calendars, it would NOT let me modify. I called DVC and they had the same problem. They called technology and told me that they would have to cancel my Hollywood Studios for that day first before they could book MK , and they couldn’t guarantee me that I would get it. So strange. However, it all worked out. I’m guessing park ressies may be almost sold out at MK for Saturday the 9th so they are managing it carefully?

So assuming all goes well on Friday morning I’m planning to purchase the LLPP for 1 day, plus LLMP for a couple of other days at other parks. Since there are just two of us (my friend is doing a one-time WDW trip) I think it will be worth a try for MK on a holiday weekend. I anticipate it will be super busy as they just extended closing time from 9 PM to 12 midnight.

Quick question - I’d rather jump to the LLMP’s first thing at 7 am on Friday to get the days/times we want for the popular attractions at other parks. Do you think I’ll be safe on Friday morning to go ahead and do that before purchasing the LLPP? I’m hoping as you said that the word won’t have gotten out yet. I know every minute counts for things like Slinky DD and Tiana.

There’s no doubt it’s lot of money but we’re saving about $160 between the two of us by not doing LLMP/LLSP for 2 days at MK, so that helps a bit . I’m actually excited to try it and will report back!

I think you will be safe booking your few days of LLMP and/or LLSP before your LLPP. Am I sure 100% no but I can't see you spending more than 15-20 minutes before booking your MK LLPP.

To consider the other path you should be able to book your LLPP in under 2 minutes at 7 AM on Friday.. So if you have any residual concerns go that way first. And please report back here if your get the LLPP or over on the thread if you chose to only book LLMP and/or LLSP.

Many thanks! Since I’ve gone ahead and changed my park reservations around I think I’ll do the LLPP first, just to be safe. I did go on MDE today and can see that both myself and my travel mate are eligible Friday morning at 7:00 so hopefully I can go through that piece quickly. I just haven’t made any LLMP bookings yet so it’s all new to me.🤞🤞

Just to be clear you found the link for LLPP and clicked your date that you want and clicked through for MK until you saw the
"Who's Include?" then you are ready to hit the Continue Step.

It is different than the LLMP and/or LLSP flow.

Yes, I’ll double check, but believe I searched for LLPP and then clicked through as you noted. Thanks for the support! I guess I should practice on the LLMP as well, but it doesn’t let you go very far.

I wonder if Disney will see a decrease in VIP tours sales? Could some tour guides lose thier jobs?

Just wanted to report back that I successfully purchased LLPP this morning for MK right at 7 AM (took under a minute) and then moved right on to my LLMP’s for DHS and AK. All went well (except got mixed up about the Tier 1’s at DHS, not realizing two of my selections were Tier 1’s lol) . But all good other than that. Thanks for your advice and I’ll try to remember to report back after I use LLPP next weekend!

Maybe, maybe not!
People seem to think that tour guides are as easy to get as an LLMP, when in reality they're as elusive as a reservation to Space 220. The waitlist for a guide is probably so long that Disney "needed" to offer LLPP to appease their guests.

We did the VIP tour once. It was a special day but a very long day. Also, even though we liked our guide, it’s a long day having to make small talk with someone that you don’t know. I wouldn’t do it again, and also wouldn’t do LLPP except under a special circumstance.

However, am going to try it next Saturday at MK as only make it down once a year and expect the long weekend to be super busy. Just two of us, so decided to bite the bullet and spend the $$. I’m excited to know we’ll be able to walk on every ride with no plan, and no heads buried in phones!
