LL Premier Pass is here!

I am anxious to see how it plays out. My husband and I are planning a trip for just the 2 of us in December of 2025, I am hoping the premier pass is still an option. I have watched a few YouTube reviews and it sounds amazing. We have not been to WDW since 2021.

It is spendy, I will start saving my expendable income now. :lovestruc

Editing to add I am most looking forward to NOT having my phone out all of the time to schedule every minute of our day.

Please...don't do this. For the love of all that is good and holy, don't. do. this. WDW powers that be just keep jacking up the prices and we just keep lining up like sheep, handing over our money. This is ridiculous and truly, an insult. AN INSULT.

Because I’m going on a crowded long weekend (next weekend) and Magic Kingdom is open from 9 AM - 12 midnight, we should have plenty of time to hit every attraction with parade, fireworks & meal breaks in-between. Just seems like the right opportunity.

I’ll bet it will still be around next year!

That sounds good.

We are (hopefully if available) trying it kind of the opposite way! We will be at MK on a party day but plans later in the evening, so we are trying it out and arriving first thing in the morning and seeing how long it takes us to get all we want done! With food of course. :D

I was out and about at DLR today (where LLMP has been around longer and is an even better value) and saw at least as many plaids as I usually do (maybe upwards of 10?), so I would be surprised if it’s having much of a negative impact.

I dunno, we've paid a lot more than the cost of an LLPP for baseball playoff tickets and great tickets during the regular season, and those games are only 3 hours of entertainment. I know of people who've paid a LOT more for concert tickets (looking at you Taylor Swift). At least the LLPP + ticket cost provides a full day's entertainment and not just a few hours.

If someone wants to make the argument that it's crazy to spend money like that on ANY entertainment, I can sympathize -- the price of entertainment has skyrocketed. But (sadly) Disney's price point for a day's entertainment at some of the most popular theme parks in the world is in line with access to entertainment by some of the biggest pop stars.

I think many are really missing the point of this pass. Ita not meant to be bought by many guests like the Multi pass is. It's why it's priced the way it is. The price is to discourage most guests from buying it. If the majority of guests were able to buy this the LL quese would become as long as standby and it would defeat the who purpose of the pass.

One thing that would be really nice is that if LLPP would add things like meet & greets, preferred fireworks views, and parade spots. I guess that is just not possible for fireworks and parades since there are limits to space. I would love to have something at MK for fireworks viewing other than dessert parties.

I agree. I would be onboard with that. For this price point you should get “The Works”

While I agree the pricing is up there, it would need to increase significantly to include all that you and the PP want. Although Disney being Disney they could just do different tiers to their Pass (because they like to convolute even the most simplest of things) wherein someone selects the tier that includes just the attractions, someone selects the tier that includes attractions and meet and greets, then the other person selects the tier that comes with that plus parades. Or Disney could be Disney and fail again at figuring out their pricing for their products and not increase it enough if they include more.

That's giving ideas to Disney I think people here are just not used to thinking about higher cost passes and are too used to lower pricing which have only served to show how pricing too low creates too much demand and usually less overall satisfaction with the product at the end of the day.

I don’t know. Adding one parade viewing spot and one fireworks spot for those willing to pay for the LLPP doesn’t seem like a massive enough difference that they would have to adjust pricing. Both options were free with FP+ when the entire park was able to access for free. Just a difference of opinion I guess. I’m not saying I’m 100% correct either.

Unfortunately that's an era of the past to use. FP+ didn't always have fireworks viewing in it.; I remember MK leaning on dessert parties for that paid fireworks viewing. LLSP/LLMP doesn't include meet and greets, fireworks viewing nor parade viewing.

What you view as a minor change, and let's be honest people wouldn't be happy to only have 1, doesn't appear to be to Disney otherwise they would have already included it prior to Premier Pass. Unless they find it's a massive failure like the Magic Kingdom tents, that I could say could sway them. But just to say it should include "the works" at that price point...is what I'm speaking to. Y'all are looking at it from being used to low cost options from Disney and suddenly this isn't so low cost so you expect all of it to be included due to the price.

Disney doesn't always make the smartest choices and I often find myself scratching my head here but they also don't tend to make decisions especially about pricing and offerings without a solid reason at least to them even if it makes little sense to us.

I remember being some of the very first guest to test out the fireworks viewing area for free.

That was also before 2019. Things have changed for Disney. IMO they are trying to be more like other parks. I actually see the day if those Premier pass works out that the Multi pass is a thing of the past

People were speculating if Disney ever did an Express Pass type system it would have be priced at like $500 (this was something multiple people said) and well...that's what Disney is doing as the premier pass is a lite version of the once through Express Pass and it isn't even the unlimited version which is more what people were thinking when comparing it to Universal's system. People were saying if Disney dared to charge even a few hundred it would make people go crazy and well...here we are. (these are searchable figures if you want to see the posts from posters).

I don't think Disney is trying to be as unique as they once were in terms of pricing and products. I consider them unique because they keep changing their product and they add a lot more complexity than need be for the average guest but they are IMO and like you said sliding towards less "sets them apart". I will forever miss the included FPs (FP+ mostly as that's what I had more actual usage out of) but once MaxPass was introduced in 2017 they stopped being as unique there and it's only gotten crazier since lol.

I would probably buy it, but only on a super busy week like Christmas, Spring Break, etc. Most weeks are doable, even without LLMP. Waiting just doesn't bother me. As long as it's under 45 minutes.

I’m going back to Disney World in February 2025, and if the premier pass is still available I am 100% buying it. My family are not early risers so rope dropping doesn’t happen no matter how much I try. We did book VQ, LLSP, and LLMP on our last family trip this year, but it was a lot of work for me, and I ended up with multiple ride photos of myself on my phone booking our next rides. I’m really looking forward to visiting the parks more leisurely and doing things when I want. I have considered getting VIP guides before, but I don’t really want to hang out with a stranger. I would feel like I had to be “on” for this person for the entire day. I know, I’m weird. So I am glad to have this new option.

We are going for a longish trip in a few weeks, we will be with our daughters for some of the trip, with friends from NY for another few days, then on our own for a few days. We will buy the premier pass for the last couple of days depending on how the busy the parks are at the beginning of the trip.
