LL Premier Pass is here!

I don't think it will sell well at all at EP and AK. HS might get some takers. MK will be where this is used at.

I wonder if they don't get the sale numbers they want at AK and EP, will they make HS and MK make up for it somehow? AK can easily be done without any type of LLs during the slower season.

It's absolutely ludicrous.
Just buy the single pass for Flight of Passage and rope drop everything else. Or show up at like 3-4 pm if you don't want to rope drop. Everything but Navi will be 20 mins or less.

Right. Or rope drop it.

I just watched a vlogger and them seem to think LL single pass and LL multi pass will go eventually and it will just be this expensive premium one

Does anyone think this will be the case?

That will be my family priced out from going and unfortunately my 3 year old twins aren’t going to wait in long queues all day. Hopeless this
I will go so far as to say that there is no way that will happen. About 50% of guests are buying MPLL because they like not standing in long lines all day. Even for Disney prices, the Premier Pass is a true luxury that the majority of guests can't justify, especially considering longer stays or larger families. There has been some sort of basic skip the line service since the late 90's because it's been super popular with guests. The backlash would be swift and extreme. I know with certainty it would immediately stop our family from visiting.

On top of park prices and for what, a handful of rides! Now I am just laughing😂. And, I realize what this may really be….Disney’s VIP Tours may not be selling enough so they are trying this out as another avenue parallel to that perhaps?🤔

Oh all the ways I can spend those thousands😉

Nope Disney does not have any trouble selling VIP Tours. They have a limited number of VIP CM Tour Guides available.

To me, LLPP sounds similar to the VIP Tours in terms of access to rides, but it saves Disney the cost of the CM Tour Guide and the park to park transportation. Sort of “VIP Tours Lite,” maybe in response to the demand for regular VIP tours. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Have to note that a portion of the target market here is people who have a lot of money and don’t know what they’re doing.

I think the target market is anyone who will pay….whether it breaks the bank or not is not Disney’s concern.

I might splurge a day or 2 for this ....and I do know what I am doing. I just don't want to do it on a couple of days of my trip....i'm a Type A that wants to try and be a Type B for a day or 2. I want to shop and stroll and explore and eat and go wherever I want to in the park at whatever time I want to - and still ride all of the rides. No phones!

I think all of us Type As who want to try to be Type B on vacation -- for our own benefit and our families/friends' benefit -- are a prime market for this. I have been both on vacation, and we all are happier when I am more chill.

I don’t see a reason to buy this if you go to WDW often. We go every 2-4 years and I thought I would be tempted to get it for DHS but as I’ve thought about it it’s a big nope.

I would buy this at DL or any of the overseas parks since it would probably be a one and done trip.

I feel this...and this is the reason the HS LLPP is enticing. But I also know we could do all of HS if my family got their rears out of bed and we took advantage of early entry and then came back later at night and use LLMP and ILL. But who is fighting with the family to get up, who is planning and scheduling and checking their phone? Oh, that's me. There is something luxurious to the idea of just walking in and scanning and riding everything with no planning and little to no wait. But it comes with a pretty luxurious price tag too 😂

I suspect WDW is well aware of that. But no reason not offer it at the other parks. I'm sure there are some who will buy it.

Regarding comparing this to VIP tours, I actually prefer this Premier Pass a lot more.

I just don't like the idea of some random person (as nice as they may be) involved in our family time all day. It's just not our style. Making small talk, being paraded around, figuring how much of a gratuity they deserve at the end...

With this Premier Pass, it's a set price and a known benefit that we can do at our own pace and schedule. We're park veterans and have our own touring style and don't need to be led around.

Do I ever see us purchasing this? No, but I like the concept more than VIP.

Well MK alone almost matched attendance at both Universal parks in 2023.

When and if those numbers start changing, I think we will see Disney make pricing adjustments to respond.

As long as WDW is pulling the numbers it is vs. Universal, they can and will charge a premium.
Agreed. And Disney has a premium product. I can go to Disney and not leave for 10 nights and be fully entertained (I get bored easily), but at Universal after 2 days, I was ready to go. Granted, I don't do intense rollercoasters so it is not necessarily for me, but the point is Disney is iconic and people continue to flood their parks at high rates despite their high prices 🤷‍♀️
