LL Premier Pass is here!

There are just way too many people in the parks right now. It’s not a great experience for those spending 16-20k. They needed to come up with something for those guests so I suppose this is it.
This, exactly. It’s a supply & demand issue. By building so many new resorts and DVC accommodations, there are simply too many guests for the number of parks/attractions. Though I’m unlikely to spend the money for LLPP I do think the more options the better . I’m not sure what else they can do at this point, unless/until they build out more park capacity or the economy takes a dive.

This option has always been there at a similar price point for the multi generational large family groups, not all groups involving grandkids are that large of course but the math is interesting I think. 7 hours - the minimum, at the lowest season VIP tour price is I believe 3,150 before tax (and tip). If a group is 8-10 people thats in the same ballpark per person as one day of premier pass at MK, except the VIP tour allows repeats, hopping, and doesn’t force you to pay for LLs you may not want or need.

I know the premier pass is a different product and allows for a different kind of day than the VIP tour, but they did and do have options at a similar price point for large groups to spare the grands waiting lol.
For us - it’s only 5 - 2 Grands and 5 adults….VIP pass would never be something that would work for us…we don't ’Disney’ that way - we like to schedule our afternoons free.

Just venting here, but I wish I had a crystal ball that could tell me:
1) Will the Pilot extend into February 2025?
2) If so, will it still be Deluxe guests only at that time?

I have some plans I would like to rework/change if this is the case. I don't care what the answer is - I just need to know what the answer is. 😂

They will probably come up with a lightening lane Pearl Pass which allows unlimited rides and is $800-1000 per person. LLPP would go up in price to $400-500. Just kidding.

I would vote that Yes it will still be available in February 2025. Yes it will still be restricted to Deluxe Resort Guests and with a limited capacity that reduces the availability further.

How soon do you actually need to finalize your your plans is it before Thanksgiving Week? That week should provide feedback on the future of the LLPP Pilot program.

I just watched a vlogger and them seem to think LL single pass and LL multi pass will go eventually and it will just be this expensive premium one

Does anyone think this will be the case?

That will be my family priced out from going and unfortunately my 3 year old twins aren’t going to wait in long queues all day. Hopeless this

I think that would be a colossally bad move and would price most people out.

I don't need to finalize before then ....I need to finalize by the end of December. Hopefully much more will be known at that point!

Anything’s possible but they are basically printing money with LLMP and LLSP it seems like it would be hard to replace the revenue it brings in with solely the Premier Pass. It’d be a pretty high rate they’d have to convert over to break even let alone be better off.

So a DW vs Universal price difference is pretty high I would think. DW- $400 for a night at a Deluxe, then say $300 for each member of a four person family= $1600.

Universal- $400 for a night at a Deluxe?
$400 for all four members of the family. Am I missing something?
I honestly don't think they are comparable. Universal can get away with that because they only have 3 Delux resorts, of which often they are not at capacity. So they use that to pull people in.

WDW has almost a dozen Deluxe hotels. They cannot afford to offer it to all deluxe guests w/o capacity problems. Maybe if they only did it with Concierge level.

There was a time when people thought paying for “fast pass” was a colossally bad move yet here we are.
Yes, here we are with a multipass product whose cost is fairly negligible in relation to the cost of the overall trip.

Having only the premier pass would make the cost of the product out of reach for most people, and the backlash would be swift and immense, in my opinion.

It would. No doubt. Hopefully this won't happen.

NO, not, nopity no, nuh uh. I'll get by with rope drops and a couple LLs.

My top tier UO AP is an EP after 4pm. It gives me big discounts on rooms, food and merch. Also huge discounts on full day EPs.
My SW Platinum is good for major discounts and one QQ a day.
The 2 together cost less than an Incredipass and offer far better benefits.
We have the money but Disney only gets a few days a year max now and only for festivals or birthdays.
Does the LLP replace the LL Multipass? We would pay for a multipass, but no way would we lay out $129+ for the LLP. Please with the price gouging already. They’re only rides for petesake and it’s on top of ever increasing park passes too- what has that become besides entrance through the gate and no guarantees on getting on a few rides due to wait times? Perhaps it’s just me but 25 years in and we are getting a little tired of the way more for not so much. My DD has 3 kids ages 3 to 9 and an infant. In general that’s over $1700 for two day 1 park per day for her fam of 5 plus tax, PLUS a minimum of $129 pp for LLP adding at least $650 more (I understand it’s an option) It’s only two days and we are already up to approx. $2500 And this for an advantage over those who may not be able to afford it possibly making their wait times even longer…

Talk about the sky is the limit….don’t know what my SIL would say, but I am OUT on that premier option. Used to be the most magical place on earth, now it’s becoming among the most expensive (if not the most).

This is just my opinion and I know there’s many people that may not bat an eyelash (God bless) but to these 25 years in DVC members, it’s just not acceptable to us. Enough of the money grab. Find another way. Our way, is becoming to perhaps skip it skip it skip it. We’ve done the rides plenty but for our kids and grandkids, it’s just getting crazy expensive.

JMHO

The $129 was only for AK for the lowest crowd levels. Here is the price range as announced:
  • Magic Kingdom: $329 to $449 per person, plus tax
  • EPCOT: $169 to $249 per person, plus tax
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $269 to $349 per person, plus tax
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $129 to $199 per person, plus tax
Note: Price range covers the various crowd levels as Disney views them.
