Living with the Land ride?????

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but the the facilities the ride brings you through do have fish farms where catfish and a couple other types can be seen, as well as a hatchery for alligators, so it's not only plants.

You do go through a farm scene with some animals but they don't really talk about farming chickens, pigs, cows, etc. Mostly focused on plants.

I believe the catfish are intended for the dinner plate. I don't know about the others. The narration describes one of the tanks with plants growing above it as having a symbiotic relationship with the fish in the water below. I don't know what kind of fish they are. I do not believe that alligator is served anywhere on property and I can't recall the narration saying anything about them (but I know I saw them a couple weeks ago when I was there).

I love Living with the Land so much. Makes me wish soooo much that Garden Grill still rotated.

I think it was rotating when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I think they were refurbishing it for a while there though, so it might not have been operating.

On the fish front, Wikipedia states there is also Tilapia and other fish being farmed there and many are served at Coral Reef and other locations on property. The narration of the ride also states this.

Living with the land is my son and my favorite ride. We can go on it numerous times without getting tired of it. It always seems to close on the early side. When Epcot closes at its regular 9pm closing, what time does this ride close? When Epcot has extra magic hours from 9pm to 11pm for both the showcases does this ride stay open later? Thanks for any help.

It talks about different landscapes (jungle, farm, prairie) and mentions using pests to kill pests, then you go through a green house where they grow plants on almost everything but soil. It is pretty, interesting and like the old Epcot

Living with the Land was my very first ride at WDW in 1994. Spaceship Earth was closed the entire trip (when they switched from Walter Cronkite). We had dinner there too.

Never considered that it could be political.

LWTL after dark really gives a different "feel" to the Greenhouses.
