UGH! Im glad I was lazy this Saturday morning and didnt do my makeup yet - you had me completely in tears.

's for Mr Bones. What you did was so BRAVE and the greatest gift you could give him. Total selflessness.

And Gracie...glimmer of hope is good. Glimmer of hope and positive thoughts can create more than you can possibly imagine. Keep that glimmer and hold on to it. Think about it every day.

OMG, I had my reply all typed out and then glanced at your post. Why do people bump these old threads...how would anyone even do it? It would require quite a search to even find it!

I am sorry for the OP and others who have dog issues, of course. Just weird to see this thread and know that all of these dogs are probably dead and the owners moved on months or years ago.

Do the best you can with the knowledge the vet gives you.

I work for a vet and my dog was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma.
She is fine now, she is only 7 years old. Her calcium level is good, her xrays good. My boss says it could be 9 month to 3 years. We just don't know.
We discussed Chemo and radiation but it would only give her maybe 6 months. I just don't want to put her through any pain. She is my girl.
She is a rescue and the previous owners beat her. She has an old injury to her eye because of that idiot.
I just take one day at a time, listen to her and listen to my heart.
I am sorry you are going through this. Know there are many of us here that have been there.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
