Hello! Please tell me about the Living Seas. What will we see and how long did you spend in it?

Thank you :sunny:

You will see a lot of fish!!!
There's a huge aquarium with all sorts of ocean dwelling fish. There are smaller aquariums that are based on the Finding Nemo movie. There's a manatee habitat with two manatees that were rescued. There are computers with learning activities on them. If it's your first time and you are really interested in the stuff, you could spend 90 minutes in there. If you just want to look at the fish, you may only spend 30 minutes in there.

:fish: :fish: Loaded question. Like so much at Disney, it can take 5 minutes and wow that was boring or three hours and not enough time. I went in there last year feeling somewhat down and tired and sat near the bigger tanks and I swear the dolphins came around to chear me up. They because so active where I was sitting that a crowd gathered. My family spends a great deal of time at Epcot as a general rule but if you can, I would plan on an hour.

AMazing! I must be going to the wrong Living Seas exhibit but I've gone for the last three years and we keep feeling like we're missing something. There were almost no fish, and the dolphins were pretty elusive. We've actually scratched the Living Seas from our upcoming Disney trips completely.

Last year DS 12 came running up to get me because DS8 had been taken up 'on stage' for 'So You Want to be a Dolphin Expert." He is small for his age and has worn bifocals since he was 3 months. He gives the impression of being very mature for a young age. Most guess him to be 5-6 not nearly 9 until they talk to him. He was thrilled with that.

 Thanks everyone for their experences. I did not know there was computers in there. We are just mainly interested in seeing the sea life.

Does not sound like it will take us as long as I thought to go through.

Thanks again.......:) :)

there is also a dolpin show. First they feed the fish and then they have a dolphin show. It was really very nice. It is held in the room that is round on the first level. I cannot tell you what time, just ask the CM's and they will tell you. We got som really neat pictures of it.

Last time we were there we spent nearly an hour. We went in the late afternoon when they let divers in the tanks for Dive Quest. That is always fun to watch. Or like a previous poster said, find out when they are doing the dolphin shows and go then.

My DD8 loves the little educational video with Atalas. You do enjoy it more if you review all the interactive exhibits
