Just a heads up! Our DD is NOT a little kid anymore She is my BFF (best female friend) She's a 31 year old kid I'm not going to admit how old I am, but I'm a kid at heart and you will find me in line to have my picture taken with as many characters as I can

WOW! I so hope my DDs are my BFFs when they grow up.

I have moved her to the adult column, so she doesn't get coloring books, tiaras and glow sticks. LOL

Thank you for the spreadsheets! Those are very handy! Not that it makes a difference, but Rachel (age 16) is my sister-in-law (DH's little sis), not our daughter. I didn't have her 6 years before I got married, lol! She's coming along as our nanny. I'm not sure who's got it better in this situation - us or her! =)

hi all!

my family (dh, 2dd) and i are excited about the upcoming cruise. i've got to say. this is my first time posting on any disboard thread. mainly because 1. i never knew about the meet threads. and 2. stalking (the boards for info) is one of my super powers.

this is our 4th disney cruise (3rd for the girls) - and while we've seen the fish extenders on board before, we never knew what they were for. i'm giddy about the idea! and i think the girls would love walking the ship looking for pouches to put goodies in.

that being said, can we play?

Hi Wendi I just read your post to my 2 dd's and they are dying to know how old your girls are. Mine will be 12 & 9 in September. There are several other girls around 9, but no others close to my older dd's age. You can just pass them out whenever you want. I think we have about 20 cabins participating right now. I am sure in a week or so Sandy will post an updated list with all the names and cabin numbers on it. FE's are lots of fun, this is our 4th Disney cruise and we have done the FE's on each cruise.

Anyone else having difficulty with DCL website and booking spa or other activities ? I was able to get in for like 4-5 min, now I've been mostly locked out for about 45 min. Trying to book massages and other spa treatments.

Wendi - welcome to the DIS and welcome aboard. If you click on the link in my signature, you can enter your families info, which as Lori said, ends up in a spreadsheet which I occasionally post when I get updates.

As far as quoting a post, all you need do is click on the quote button at the bottom right of the post you want to quote. If you want to quote a number of posts in one reply, you can click on the icon next to the quote button, that looks like quotation marks, for each post you want to quote. It will be highlighted and when you are ready to reply, just click the Reply button.

I have a question for anybody that has done this before. There are a number of families that have indicated they are interested in linking their dining. Does anybody know how we go about coordinating that with DCL?

When we linked our dining, we called our travel agent and had to have the reservation numbers of the people we wanted to link together. They may ask you for the stateroom number too. You can also call Disney from the number on the DCL cruise site or if you are a Castaway Club member, they can help you there.

Does anyone have the DISboard app? I just recently downloaded it and I'm completely addicted! I was already stalking the boards before I found the app - now I can read up every little Disney detail from my phone! My husband just laughs at my ocd over planning and researching every little vaca detail but he does seem to enjoy hearing the little updates I give him and details about the ship or the ports we'll be visiting.

I know it's silly but I get my bonus check this week and will be making my final pmt - I'm actually a bit geeked about it! We changed our plans so recently and it was a big deal to go from a 3 to a 7 nt so we've been busting our butts to make it happen.

We actually had planned on doing a cruise back in 2008 but had to cxl it just before 90 days. We did WDW vaca in it's place which was still lots of fun. I'm ready to change it up but still have Disney in the mix!
