Anyone else unable to access them today???? I'm going nuts!

ME!!! I thought it was only me having trouble! i have a post on here asking if anyone had the same problem. i just did a system restore, checked a bunch of different browsers, restarted my computer, turned off my firewall, still cannot get on! I miss my disney music! There must be a website problem. I cannot access my VIP player OR the regular website, says page not found. I had them on yesterday but today, cannot connect. I guess i'll keep trying! At least i know it's not only me! Maybe it's just VIP members?

Dan,
Are you a VIP member using the VIP player and not the regular player. I cannot even get on live365. com...says not found. I know that we have some station owners on DIS, maybe they can enlighten us as to what is going on. If i cannot get it to work today or tomorrow, I will have to unsubscribe because I am paying to listen to it and can't get it to work!!!

i am trying to narrow it down if it's our VIP players or what. i can understand the player not working but i can't even get live365.com to come up no matter what browser i use. do we have an email address for them?

I found an email address in my file folder. Email LIVE365.com (duh, lol) and they will send you a link to a problem submission form. I completed that and sent it. They've always been good about resolving problems. I am wondering if its a VIP access problem. I just love the no commercials and great sound!

That happens every so often here on the DIS too, Lori, DNS change. A lot of people can't access, a lot can, works out in a few days. The direct DNS numbers should work fine.

Type in that IP address in the address bar - it will take you right there.

Youre just pointing at the wrong DNS address - until it replicates, just type it in.

BTW - Im free and picking it up fine!

I don't listen to the website player. My VIP player is a separate icon on my desktop. But this would probably work til i can get that working again. Thanks for your help everyone!

Live 365 has been causing us headaches for a few weeks now.

I have to check our 700+ tracks on a daily basis to make sure all my ID3 tags are still up. They did a recent change and we lost not quite half of our ID3 tags. It took Ian and I a LONG time to fix it.

Believe me I know how many of the VIP members who are having problems accessing feel. We pay 60.00 a month to run Mouse House Radio and we have to put up with the outages/loosing tracks/dropped listeners as well as a few other problems. It can be very frustrating.

This expains why our listeners are about half what they normally are today.

I checked the Live 365 forum for station owners and there is a decent sized thread discussing this problem.

This is what they are telling us...

a glitch with the DNS update wiped our DNS record with Network
Solutions. It was immediately fixed. Unfortunately, some name
server takes several hours before requesting updates and picked
up the erroneous record. We'll have to wait until those erronenous
record get expunged from the few ISP that picked up the bad
updates and things will be back to normal.

hopefully this WILL be straightened out soon.. for all of us.

I used that alternate DNS change and it is working now. I am glad it's nothing with my computer! Just a note to the people that work so hard on it, it is VERY much appreciated. I absolutely love the quality and the content and it's worth every penny for the VIP listeners!

I'm a VIP member as well and haven't been able to access it all day long. I need my "An Evening At Epcot/Illuminations" fix on Mouse World Radio!

I'm trying the DNS thing by typing it in my address bar, but that's not working either.

And there's no way I'm fooling around with changing it the other way. My luck I'll take down our DSL conneciton. No sir-ree, not even going there, not after the problems we had this past summer!
