Aulani studio at 7 months at Christmas

Looking ahead to future holidays, how hard is it to book a studio/hotel room at Aulani at 7 months during Christmas break? We would probably be looking at 4 nights.

Extremely hard. It’s one of the most popular times of the year.

Hotel rooms at 7 months are pretty much impossible any time of year.

I'm an Aulani owner and I couldn't get the exact dates I wanted at 11 months.

Hotel room better chance at winning the lottery. Studio not as hard but still will likely not happen. You will need to bump up to a 1 bedroom for the best chances.

I think it probably is a little too strict for many room types (1 bedrooms are reasonably easy to get much of the year), but still - studios and hotel rooms are difficult to get unless you own points at Aulani. My advice is plan to spend 1 bedroom points, and if when you book a studio is available - great! Book a few nights at DLR or WDW with the saved points.

I will check out that link. We only have 75 DVC points per year, so a one bedroom would be tough, unless we banked/borrowed and/or used OTU points

Limiting yourself to the cheapest rooms in the DVC system is tough especially at popular resorts like AUL.
