Live Trip Report: The go home part (Sept 8, 2016)

Well what a reflective afternoon you had, I feel all zen just reading it. Kids have moments of good and moments of bad, hopefully you are catching them before or after a nap. I started taking my son just before he was 3 and thank goodness, he didn't have many of those moments until he got into the teens and adult ages. He was just always so happy to be there that he just went with it. I agree about the different level of resorts, I tend to just hang out more at the deluxe resorts. It's so easy to just pop over to Epcot or HS for a meal or a drink and then back to YC when I'm staying there and then it's just hang out at the pool of sit on the balcony and enjoy the day.

Wow! Lots of updates! Your room is beautiful and the view is awesome!!! I always hear such great things about The Wave. I must try it on my next trip. No wait for TSM?!?! Incredible!

It's more than a little disturbing how many people don't wash they're hands after using the bathroom

This drives me insane....I want to shame them for endangering everyone they meet from that point on.

My review for Suicide Squad: there are two interesting movies battling to be one bad movie. Fun, but holy poop is this movie disjointed.

The food was good. I had the gumbo mac, hold the bell peppers. There was a decent amount of shrimp and done chunks of sausage to mix things up. Very tasty for $12. Headed back to the resort. Six other people on the bus that stops at Poly and GF. I like these numbers.

And back at the resort. Magic Kingdom is open until 11 and I have strong thought to going, but reality is staying to bleed into this trip and I know I need to start getting everything packed away and ready to go tomorrow. I'm pulled back to the real world again.

So, the fun draws to a close. I slept awful last night. It was about midnight before I finally went to sleep, and then I woke up just after two and couldn't get back to sleep until after 4:30. In that time thought about just hopping in the car and driving home to get that part of the trip over with, but finally got a little bit more sleep. I have an item or three left to pack up, but it's time to say goodbye to the house of mouse and head back to the land of responsibility and bills. It's been lots of fun, and it totally made up for my slightly disappointing birthday trip, so though I hate to leave, it's been a wonderful and successful trip. I look forward to doing it again.

Love your review of the movie, I don't think you are the only one that feels that way. Glad you had a pretty good trip.
