Live TR OKW/BLT split stay.

We leave today for our OKW/BLT split stay trip. We are driving down from NC around 2:00 this afternoon. Not sure if we will make it the whole way down today. If we get to tired we are going to stop on the way. Check in is tomorrow at OKW. We will be in a two bedroom villa for the trip.
The cast that is going is: DW-Disney fantic and master planner
DS-8 So excited to leave today
DMIL-Flew down from PA is driving down with us

My wife's sister and here family are flying down from MD on Friday to join in the fun and split stay. We will also meet up with wife's other sister and her family for the weekend. They are staying at ASSports.

I am back. Sorry for the delay. I went round and round with our computer yesterday. With the computer winning the first few rounds. The computer was about to take me out. But, I fought back. It took me four hours to fix our computer. With my DW mad with me at waisting Disney time.
We made it down Wednesday night at 10:30. We checked in to POP for the night. We woke up and ate breakfest. Then left for OKW. We arrived just as a group was unloading from a members cruise. Check in was weird. Our cast member was scattered brain to say the least. It took 45 minutes with her. We did not buy park tickets or the dining plan. We just checked in.
Anyway, The two bedroom is huge!!! I have read about it on the boards. I just did not realize it. We are on the third floor. Which is a chore lugging everything up the stairs. We unpacked and went to Epcot.
Will post pictures and update this afternoon. We are out the door to DHS now.

After we unloaded the car we headed over to Epcot. We picked up will call tickets at the front gate we had preordered. The tickets are from the YES program. They are individual enrollment series tickets.

DS and I ran over to get fast pass tickets for TT. DW and DMIL stopped at guest services for a TIW card. Then we rode our first ride SE.

Our future was a bright one.

DS loves the 3D Skeleton game at the end of SE.

We didn't really have any lunch so we ate at Sunshine Seasons at the Land. Soaring had a 40 minute wait. So, we hit up LWL.

We rode with Figment. Here is DW and DS clowning around after the ride.

Captain EO was next. DS really liked the 3D movie. He is a big Star Wars fan. That probably played into that. I forgot to mention we were dodging rain the whole afternoon. The one time we didn't bring in our rain gear. We did have one small umbrella. Which DMIL used. She can not stand to get her hair wet. Then we had the first ride on TT.

DS and I rode Soaring. DW and DMIL get motion sick and don't like Soaring.
We went over to Innoventions. DS did the IBM game. Were you take pictures of your self and they put them in a video game. You are the star. Trying to jump and run over stuff to complete the game. Then the Fire Safety game. Our side won. Go red team. We just had enough time for our 7:00 dinner reservations at The Coral Reef. It was awesome as always. We didn't get the turtle table. But, the table we had was really nice.

We came back and hung out in our nice room. I worked on the computer for a couple of hours.

This morning was HS. We just missed rope drop. Dw ran over to get fast passes for TSM. DS and DMIL went to get a pastry. I ran and rode TOT.

We met up by the fountain. DS best friend from home was down and we were going to meet him and his family.

It was going to take DS's BFF a liitle longer to make it. So, DS and I went to ride ST. I really liked the new version. I have never been sick from riding a motion simulator. But, I was green after coming off the ride. I shook it off fast. Now one of my favorite rides makes me sick.

DS's BFF made it and DS rode ST again with his BFF's family. We went to Muppet 3D next. DS and BFF.

GM was the next ride of choice.

Our FP for TSM was ripe at 11:30. We said by to DS's BFF and had a great ride. One thing that is so great about TSM is that everyone in your family can ride.

DW,DMIL,and DS took the ferry over to Epcot while I drove the car over. DMIL was getting tired. Thought the ferry would be less walking. We had a 1:15 lunch reservation at Le Cellier.

Just for the record I could eat every meal at Le Cellier. The lunch was so great. We all rolled out. A nap would have been great. We did a Kim Possible MIssion instead. It rained and was so humid. We went by Mouse Gears and the came back to OKW. We were going to go to the pool. We got to go down the slide one time. Then the thunder closed the pool. Came back to the room and DS used our indoor pool. We played Apples to Apples for a while. We noticed the rain had stopped. We decided to try the pool again but were rained out again. They closed the pool right when we got there. We got to go burgers and came back to the room. DSIL,DBIL, DN,DN just got here. Let the party begin.

Epcot is our favorite park And I totally agree with you about Le Cellier...the first time I ate there, we ended up cancelling our dinner reservation since we were so stuffed from lunch...and nothing else tasted remotely close to Le Cellier after the trip, it was THAT GOOD. YUM.
