Live TR OKW/BLT split stay.

DS bought a original drawing from Janet St. Pierre and got a picture with her. The drawing was Star Wars Stitch.

We just got back from the MK. It was so crowded tonight compared to the rest of the week. I think it is the Food and Wine Festival people here early. We did ride POTC, HM and got a dole whip. We did get the hitch hiking ghost at the end that takes off your heads and switches them.:cool1: It was so cool! We stopped by Contempo Cafe and the arcade on the way back. We were to tired for Wishes. Well make that DW and DS were. I didn't want to watch them by myself. DSIL,DBIL,DN,DN stayed at Epcot all afternoon and evening. They still are not back yet. The Disney Depression is starting to kick in hard. I wish we had another week.

We took the monorail back and ate lunch at Contempo Cafe. We then met DMIL in the lobby of BLT for the TOTWL DVC sales program thing. We drop DS at the community hall while we went to the 16th floor. We received FP's and ended up adding on points.:thumbsup2

Great TR - Didn't know that the BLT sales program is still on the go - I might add on so it would be useful to go. Do you remember what the incentives were and did you have to book?
Love your pictures of the Contmeporary pool - will need to get over there next time we are at BLT as it looks like fun for my son. He would also love that sundae from Mrs Potts -can't believe I haven't been there yet.
Can't wait to go now and see the MK with all those Halloween decorations!

Hey Irenep. They have very limited inventory left. I think the incentives were $150 a point with $12 off. There were other incentives for 50 point add ons to. I didn't write them down so I can't remember them.:sad2: I can't remember anything with out writing it down anymore. You had to book on the spot.
Hope you guys have a great trip!!!

We made it home after 9 hours in the car. DS said he could live at WDW.:goodvibes He is showing all his friends souveniers from the trip now.
I will post final thoughts of the trip later. I have a lot of work to catch up on now. Thanks for reading.

Some of my final thoughts. OKW is a beautiful, laid back resort. The room sizes are great with all of the extra space. They have some of the best recreation staff. Parking close to the units is very nice.
We really like BLT!!! It is more in the middle of all the action. We love how easy it is to access the community hall, pools, TOTWL, monorail, MK, and places to eat. It is just so immersed in everything. We live at the beach and OKW is kind of like that. I guess I am trying to say we like BLT better because it is more like being away from home.
I noticed something that all able bodied men should do. If you are riding on a crowded bus, monoral, or boat please give your seat to any women or children. I watched women carrying babies and very elderly women not get offered seats by men.:sad2: It was very disappointing to see this happen in such a wonderful place.
It still gets very hot at WDW in late September. Just have to know when to go back to the pool.;)

Just finished reading your entire trip report! It was awesome!! :woohoo: Thanks for taking time during your vacation to entertain us all!!:worship:

Glad to see someone else thinks a resort reminds them of home. That is what the Wilderness Lodge is to us. It is very nice, but just reminds us too much of where we live. So we too absolutely love BLT! So different from home.

And I have to say, what a gentleman you are. I know my DH is the same as you and will offer his seat up to some mom with a small child or an older woman. It is so nice to see there is still chilvary out there still.
