Can you find the answer to a questions for me? Someone posted that Topsiders is no longer a buffet, and that you can get the same foods there that the main dinning rooms are serving that night. If this is true, my questions are:
1. Between what times can you order from the dinning room menus?
2. Is it possible to go to Topsiders, and get the food and bring it back to the staterooms?
We ate at Topsiders last night and it was menu dining. I'll try to take a look tonight to see if that is the same every night or not.

The dining room menus can be ordered from while the dining room is open I believe it is 6 - 9pm for dinner.

I've seen people bringing back dinner from the dining room & Topsiders. They just give you a serving lid.

I want to say a hello to everyone from the DIS onboard. :wave2: I have loved meeting everyone. DIS people really are the best! Everyone has been great and I've been having a blast. I've met lots of people it's been very social. A bunch of us met at Rocking Bar 'D' for the Gary Delana show. We danced a little, drank a little & laughed a lot.

I'm not sure what to say for a trip report so if anyone has any questions post them and those of us onboard will try to answer.

So DJ Pike is Bingo king. Who is DJ? I knew Que and Doug left but where in the world are Dessler, Ang, Renee,.....

Is Grand Cayman back to norm or was it still very obvious about their devastation?

Thanks for the update.
DJ Mateo...

I love Pike! He was so funny during Bingo, I almost lost it!!
"amy smells like roses...and chocolates" "amy is the best in the world"

DAVID FREDRICK PIKE! :rotfl:

Horseback riding today! We booked the excursion through Disney......
the 3-4 hour excursion. We thought we would ride for 3-4 hours, but
found out it was just under an hour to drive to the "ranch" and then
about an hour ride and then the ride back.

Anyhow, it was great! :flower: Highly recommended!
A wonderful drive in an air-conditioned mini bus with 2 men
(besides the driver) .....Rene and Donitao (spelling?) who
told us about the area and when we got there, Donitao
walked us around the ranch a bit and told us some history
of Costa Maya and Mayan fruit, trees.....etc.

The horses were very calm and knew where they were
going so they stayed on path very well. Very beautiful
land, trees, fields, etc. A very relaxing ride and
the only bad thing was that we wished it lasted longer!

A great experience :sunny:

Ok, now off to get ready for pirate night!
And they're having fireworks tonight also! pirate:

I could go for some extremely hot weather right now.............the stingray excursion in GC is one of the few places my family has visited twice as a tourist...........it was really cool!! :sunny:

I heard last summer that Dessler had found out that he was to be a daddy while on my last cruise, perhaps, he is home with his wife awaiting his new addition!!! :cloud9:

I'm glad Pike is doing such a good job, he was fun last summer! (Still miss Q though!) :guilty:

I thought I would be spending more time online but there's so much to do. I'm in the 5th floor atrium on via wireless. Costa Maya was too hot and the beach was crowded. The water was warm and not refreshing. I like 7 mile beach at Cayman better. The shopping was also less congested at Cayman. Pirate Night tonight and it's great seeing people walk by dressed-up. Not looking forward to returning to a cold NY.

SweetSpot i was wondering if DCL has DCL christmas cards out in the ship store ? we are taking our first DCL on new years eve and i want to see if i could get christmas cards from the ship to send out before we go.

Hi Scouter & Sweetspot:

Which beach did you go to tequila beach?

Hi Goofy (Paul)!
I hope that you and your wife will be getting to enjoy your own rescheduled trip soon!

We're doing fine, fine :sunny:

Last night's pirates party was great fun pirate:
Suzanne and I tried all the dances, even if we stunk at learning the moves.
It was actually our own boys, 15 and 11, who sat out and didn't want to
dance.
Then the buffet! Yummy!
And we stayed up through about 1/2 of The Pirates of the Caribbean movie
on deck. It was soooo cool to watch outside with a nice breeze (ok, sometimes that was a bit much...) and see the movie on a huge screen like being at a drive-in but much cleaner, better food and drinks and NO
MOSQUITOS!

Ok, today....day at sea....what shall I do? Galley kitchen tour at 3,
perhaps a movie with my son? photo ops, shopping! Dinner at Palo
tonight with 3 other single women. Yeah!

Ta Ta

Boo Hoo, time to get ready to go home.
Castaway Cay was great!
Oh, and parasailing! WOW! We wish we could have done this all day!
How sad to come down.

This was a great cruise and we met lots of nice friendly people.
We'll miss everyone!

:wave2:

Thank you for the great report! Glad you had a great time :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
