Ok can someone please explain this to this dumb girl? (me??) Does this mean that Alvaro was actually drving the ship,per se, through the locks? WOW WHen and how did you get off the ship after you were done? Ah man, I sooo wish I could go on the Aug repo cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo sad that I can't. I wish DCL would offer 14 days regularly...

HUGE FAVOR PLEASE!!!

Many of us are having a very hard time getting time in the internet cafe to post "live" reports from the Magic on this thread.

If possible, please keep questions or comments for the "LIVE FROM THE MAY REPOSITIONING CRUISE" to just that. Many of us are having a hard time since the computers are so slow to scan through every post and try to see what is relevant to us and not.

For other questions and comments not related to our thread, someone might want to start a separate thread so it is easier for us to respond to the LIVE questions.

Absolutely NO doubt about it...except I'm having let down already from being through the canal and having met and left my new buddy Alvaro, (after talking about it for a year), I'm afraid how hard it'll be to leave this ship!!!

That "rumor" about the Magic being highjacked is looking more likely every day. Sorry all you west coast cruisers...you may not have a ship!!!

The pin from the Disney Panama canal cruise is now up to $113 on Ebay and it still has more than two days left on it. I wonder how high it will go.

Booked our excursion today.
Some of the ones we wanted were already booked up.
But still need to book Palo's and Spa reservations.

The people running the Panama Canal web cams did a wonderful job.

CAn anyone tell me how much the internet costs to use on the cruise ship. Is it per minute or can you pay so much an hour? Did they offer any specials on the repo?

Internet access is 0.75 per minute or $179 for unlimited access on the 14 night cruise. Nope, no special deals for the longer cruise.

Can family members call you on the ship? How much does it cost per minute?

You can receive calls but it is something like $6.95/minute for ship to shore calls.
