Kelli, you are too kind but it is you and your family that have made this an incredible journey for my Mom & I. I hope we will be friends for a long time. It's hard to believe that we only actually met a week ago. It feels like we have been friends forever. I am so glad you and your family were on board to share this incredible journey through the Panama Canal with my Mom & I.

To all my other newly "met" Disboard friends, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this cruise definitely a trip of a lifetime. I hope we can all do this again someday soon.

Yes Kelli, Thats how we spell colourful up here in the frozen north. We also spell honor / honour and center/ centre. My poor kids are so mixed up since they started out their school years in Colorado spelling one way and now have to try another way. My youngest still uses the American spelling.
Ah well, doesn't really matter which way.

Hey!! I hear that there's an ugly rumor that I've been tossed overboard. While this may be wishful thinking for some , I'm still here and having an incredible, fantastic, awesome time.

You already know the "fun" that it's been to get a computer. With my luck so far, the computer will probably explode when I hit submit reply.

Thanks to everyone who tracked our progress thru the canal. I just looked at some of the movies and really enjoyed seeing it from a different perspective.

The DISers on this cruise are some of the nicest folks that you'd ever want to meet. Everywhere you turn, there's the Kingdom to Kingdom lanyard. Smiles and friendly hellos are in abundance. I know that I'm going to miss each and every one of them.

I have a feeling that some of the 25 pounds that I lost for this cruise are creeping back on. There's always the WISH board.

My DH created a simple slide show of the highlights of the Magic going through the Gatun Locks -- though after seeing the longer videos others posted, he did not want to post. I like the short one he set up and others might also because it allows time at each shot and you move on at your own pace.

Thanks to all who have posted photos, messages, and web cam links - it has been one exciting week of following the Magic.

Is there any 50th anniversary merchandise on board? Gold Mickey Ears? Will shutters make extra copies of the Magic going through the canal for future cruises? I sure would love to get one of those.

DisneyNutMary, we haven't seen the new show yet. I don't know when they'll have that performance.

No Golden Ears being sold onboard, or any 50th merchandise that I noticed. There may be some, but I don't recall seeing any.

I don't know if they'll continue selling pix of the ship passing thru the canal. The first ones were okay but the newer ones that they put up for sale are fantastic.

I agree with Regina, the first pics they put up could have been taken next to any old railroad line, and ditch. The new ones were taken from a helicopter and show the ship just going into a lock. You can also get any of your DCL pics super-imposed in the corner of any of them.....VERY nice......
