Can anyone please tell what the dining rotation is. I will be on the repo in aug and want to make my palo reservations on Sunday. Is there any nights that are not to miss?

If I remember correctly the menus have been:
Saturday-Let The Magic Begin
Sunday-regular resturant menu
Monday-Captains Gala
Tuesday-regular resturant menu
Wednesday-Tropicalifragilistic
Thursday-regular resturant menu
Friday-East Meets West

The three nights of the regular resturant menus all involve a show and a surprise in the resturant.

I booked within the first 15 minutes, and haven't heard about an upgrade. Though I'm not expecting one either. Also considering there is no availability for this cruise acording to dcl site, I'm sure they wouldn't be upgrading people yet.

I am sitting here in the internet cafe with Martidoll and krdisneybound. Spros just left. We have a great group of people on this cruise. I am so happy to be a part of this. We plan on getting up around 5 AM tomorrow. I suspect there will be a mini dis meet at topsiders around then. Magic show is going on in the Walt theater right now. Things are quiet. The ocean is unbelieveably smooth. Hardly any rocking. Long lines for Captain Thord today at Treasure Ketch. He looked tired. Sebastian (India)is our server and Vivian(Brazil) is the assistant. Saw Gede from Bali and Ivana from Croatia from our last cruise. How wonderful. Annie Marie is in Palo. Scheduled for Brunch tomorrow at 11AM. Should be right before we enter Pedro Miguel locks. Having trouble getting Billy to email updates to his teachers in Indianapolsi. Mostly a problem due to the traffic to use the internet. They took the computer out of the stack to allow for more use in the internet cafe.
Jragland is diagonal across the hall from me. See him and his family a lot. It is nice. Dissers all over and all are friendly. Martidoll is ?hopefully posting as I write. Finally went to the hot tub for the first time.
More later.

Bill is trying to get everyone up at 4 am -

he will have to drag us out of bed at that time.

As some have to work and I was lucky enough to claim tomorrow as a "work from home day" (having worked straight through last weekend), I'll be posting pics (as soon as I can figure out how ;) ). I just won't try to do a video screen capture. Later in the day, I'll make an animated GIF of the crossing... promise!

From what I've been told, their is concern about a loss of revenue to the coffee shop and photo shop (since people will be able to upload images to home)

Frankly I don't buy it. I think its just winding its way through disney bureaucracy, which can be pretty darn slow some times. From what I was told (And this obviously doesn't mean its true), everything from billing to access points is in place to cover several areas of the ship, it only needs the switch flipped.

The problem with the internet going wireless we were told is the bandwidth. The computers are so slow now and adding the wireless to it would slow it down even more. I think the plan in drydock is to increase that bandwidth capability.

Where are you - in the Cove Cafe upstairs???????????????????? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i am posting for MARTI

she says it has been wonderful to meet all the DIsssers----

she won't post - her family is more important than us

Off the ship she goes-------------------------- gang plank for her
even before the pirate party :cool1: pirate:

You know , Tom and Diana, you could come down and see the rest of us peons here in the internet Cafe. Martidoll is anxious to meet more of us. She is still here. Pacers are winning slightly. Wish I could see them on TV. Protect me from Kay. Hurry. Hey, I saw Harry and KelliB at the same table with the respective people. I didn't know they were at the same table, are they. It was at Lumieres. I waved with Martidoll.

After this post heading down to the internet on Deck 3.

We took Island Tour yesterday, it was very nice got to stop and taste the local liquer, but not at the factory as expected but at a ship. Then got to tour the caves it was 80 outside with 70% humidity and inside the caves it was 80 and 90% humidity very hot. Also Got to stop at the top of the bridge overlooking the ship way cool site.

Also got to walk over the floating bridge between the 2 sides of town, really a cool thing to do.

The sailaway and crowds yesterday was fantastic, could not belive how many people were out there, even got to see out tour guide from the morning.
