Live from the Magic!

He'll PROBABLY be joining the PC cruise mid way... he did with us. I think he got on in Aruba.

Bummer not on the 10-Night Easter Caribbean Holiday Cruise (Dec 29th) :sad2:

Also wanted to know where you found this on the DCL site?

When I signed in on the CC page, it was in that welcome page on the right, I clicked on it and all that info was on the next page.

My Parents were at the brunch. Did you run into Jim & Vicky (Bekaah)? I posted their picture earlier in this thread.

Thanks for taking the time to post. Have a great rest of your trip!

I did see them on the stateroom tour, I think. We ran past each other. That was really a mess! Too many people trying to come out (it was like one of those clown cars) at the same time too many people wanting to go in. It was very interesting, though. I really liked the sideways cabin. And the cat 3!

I'm not sure about Ducky's cruises. I think he's been asked to make special lithographs for all of the special cruises, though.

OK, the Report from the Bridge says it's about 65F. But boy, is it cold! They put out big carts/baskets of blankets. There were lots of people out on deck wrapped up in them. The seas are rough, 8-13 feet. You can really tell! It is very hard for me to walk. I have problems, anyway, though. Some DISers were in the adult wave pool this afternoon having a great time! You could hear them screaming clear across the deck! RCCL has nothing on DCL! :lmao:

Well, it's about time to go to the new Villians show and then dinner. More later or tomorrow. Thanks for reading...

I bet it becoming a real wave pool... :rotfl: :dance3: ...I wish I were there getting tossed around in the pool, though getting out won't be to easy.

Have a MAGICial cruise!! :thumbsup2

Cool! He'll be on our Christmas cruise! Yippeee!!!:cool1:

If anyone has any pics of what he's doing on board or the mural, I'd love to see them. I've never been on a Ducky cruise, so I'm anxious to see his stuff. Everyone certainly raves about it.

Must admit, I'm very jealous. We were supposed to be on this cruise, but the girls' school changed their spring break to before Easter this year instead of after Easter like it has been every year and is scheduled to be next year! GRRRRRRR!!!!

Glad you're having a great trip!

I lost the links to the blogs on this trip. Does anyone know were the links were poster or have them.

Thanks

I bet they will be glad to see land tomorrow even if they do enjoy sea days!!!

Agree, whilst there are many reports on their blogs of movement and high seas, they actually have been rather lucky, the bad stuff is just North, and the Captain and Crew did keep her south of that, now closing in on is destination.

Andrew is correct - we are in between fronts. And the seas are worse today then yesterday. There are white caps all over. Small ones but still... Last night was the first night the rocking actually kept waking me up. I had to close the bathroom door as it kept banging open, closed, open, closed, etc. The report from the bridge says it's still around 65 F but I can't seem to get warm anywhere but my bed! My fingers and nose are constantly cold. The seas are still "rough" at 8-13 ft. Last night 2 at our table weren't feeling very well. So, they were in their cabin sleeping it off.

This is our last sea day (of 6 in a row) and we are halfway done with the cruise. I will be very sorry to see it end! It seems like most of the stuff I wanted to do was at the beginning of the week and there is less and less that interests me as we go on. There are still movies I want to see but if we were on land, I probably would not see them. I find I am taking more naps as the loss of hours catches up with me.

Oh, the villians show! I thought it was ok. I liked the costumes and music. The pyrotechnics always came as a surprise and blinded me. I didn't like that part very much. Made it hard to see. I was sitting with people from my dinner table. One person wanted to skip (late) dinner and see it again and someone else said, "They got rid of the Golden Mickeys for that? It sucked!" So, there you have it.

Time to get ready for Palo tea. Later...

Linda, you should praise the Captain a crew of the Magic, they have kept south of the major fronts both West of you and East of you, the ship has had luck as well, going through the bottom of this. On the maps there are considerable @yellows' this is very high waves, but you have had pixie dust and it could have been far far worse, so praise the officers.

Enjoy.

And enjoy Palo tea, you look like you are close to 'our' time zones now.

Updated closing in, looks like slowing down, must be making good progress. Some ships look like they have moved and others not moved.

I don't know about anyone else but I haven't looked at any news (except the daily "newspaper" they give you in your stateroom). So, I don't have any idea of any other weather except what it is right outside on deck. So, I am very grateful for all of the crew who have gone out of their way to keep us safe.

I know I have already posted once today but OMG! I just had to tell you all about the fantastic show we just saw! It was another new one about Walt Disney - the Dream Lives On. It was clips and dance numbers of a lot of the movies and cartoons he made. Starting with the mouse. It was just great! It made me remember all of those movies I had forgotten about from when I was a little girl. Even my friend who didn't care for the Villians show because she liked the Golden Mickeys better liked it. I hope they keep it on the ship for a long time so everyone has a chance to see it. It even made me a little teary-eyed at the end. GREAT!!! Have a good night!

Sounds very good, you look like to be circa 250 miles off your first port of call our side, so thats ten hours at full speed. If our websites are up to date, most likely you are further across now and slowing down.

You have done well to miss the bad high waves to the North of you, on the West of the Atlantic and the East. These are in just one now, behind you, where its particularly bad, Gibraltar has had bad weather recently and might still be choppy but looks like its dissipated.

Linda, thank you for the 2nd post. The new show sounds great, I bet it will most likely only be on longer cruises, but as I get to sail on the WBTA, woo hoo!

Pj

This has been fun to watch!

Are they offering any unique rebooking incentives for ya'all or is it just the usual?
