Live from the Magic!

No specific questions here, just would love to hear what the experience is like! We get to be on the Magic on June 24th, but the transatlatic sounds so terrific too! Hope it's super fun!:cool1:

is Don ducky Williams onboard? anyone semi famous onboard they usually have someone on the long repo cruises?
Sorry, guys, I only have 15 minutes as I'm off to the first Ducky seminar.

Hey Linda, can you find Grlzmom for me and tell her I said hi? Her name is Jeanne - she will know all the cast members and has a bunch of beautiful blonds girls and one boy. You will love her she is so much fun to hang with!

Amanda

Sure, I'll look for her.

I'm curious how rough the seas are in the middle of the atlantic? let us know how it is around tuesday.

The seas aren't really too bad but I still feel like I'm drunk. I'm weaving around a lot! Not sick at all - I've been taking meclezine.

Hi there,

We are travelling on the WBTA later in the year, we were wondering do they give any special briefings on the crossing regarding weather and destinations etc. I know the captain gives a daily update, if only you could hear it. My sister and her partner is coming with us and I know they would be interested as they have never stepped on a ship in there lives. They only saw the Magic when I pointed out to them a the terminal.

Does it feel warm and can you sunbathe or is it cloudy.

I was only outside this morning for breakfast at topsiders and I thought it was a little cool. Not enough for a jacket but my eggs got cold!

Oh I've thought of one thing, what is on the dinner menus - hey what can I say I love food!

I'm going to ask for copies of the menus and post when I get home if they will give them to me. Last night they had the most wonderful stuffed veal dish!

Im curious as to who the cruise director is on the magic. We will be traveling on the may 15th 11 night west. med. Also my kids are curious what movies are showing. Thanks.

I'll post these when I have a bit more time. OK?

Does anyone know, is Ricky kalmon the hypnotist that was on the 08 Eastbound Panama Canal cruise?

He was on my Western last summer so I was kinda bummed to see he was doing the same act. But it was just as funny the second time because all the players changed and everyone behaved differently.

Hey Stlkeeler, I know it is a little late..........but did you get your taxes mailed off B-4 you left. HAVE A HAPPY CRUISE.

Yep, sent off, return received, return spent!!!

You guys have posted a lot on this thread since last night. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to keep up - I "only" bought 500 minutes! I'll try to come back tonight and post more.

Thanks!!

Linda you are a star!

If you can and get to see Ducky can you ask if he is on the canal? I would love to know.
Lexi

Thanks for posting - I`ll keep looking for this thread.
Is the ship full?
More importantly - all of you, have a great time :cheer2:

I was thinking he was the same guy, but wasn't sure. I was one of the people "hypnotized" during one of the shows.

I was at that show. I remember you being "hypnotized".

I wish I was on this cruise. But will have to wait until 2011 when we can cruise on the Dream.

Glad to hear you had good weather at Castaway Cay. Were all the new features open?

If you meet Dave and Sally from Viera on the ship, let them know their daughter is following your thread ( My parents are again sailing on the transatlatic crossing WITHOUT any of their children or grandchildren)

No, just the slide.

Thanks for posting - I`ll keep looking for this thread.

The ship is not full but it is sold out. Last I heard there were about 2000 onboard but there are a lot of singles. And nopt as many cabins with kids. I have not heard how many kids are onboard but I will ask.

If you can and get to see Ducky can you ask if he is on the canal? I would love to know.

I don't know if he's on the canal one but he is doing a special lithograph for that sailing. Also, the WBTA. He did one for us, too.

The movies on this sailing are (we only got a schedule thru Sat):

Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3-D
Princess and the Frog
Love Happens
Old Dogs
The Blind Side
When in Rome
Up in 3-D
Sherlock Holmes
The Last Song
Precious
A guest presenter-Gary Landrum
Up in the Air

I think that's it. They are all repeated various times throughout the week.

this is a fun thread!! We're on the WBTA in 2011. I'll be watching this with GREAT interest!!!! Have a GREAT time!!!

We also are fans of Don Ducky Williams and have been lucky enough to sail with him twice (but sadly never a "special litho" cruise). Could you possibly find out if he might be on the inaugural cruise of the Dream or if he might be doing a special litho for it? Thanks so much & have a wonderful cruise!

I don't remember him mentioning the Dream. But he might have and I missed it. He was telling us a bunch of stuff in "confidence." Several hundred of us... Like that's gonna happen.

We were on the March 20th sailing. Alfred and Seymour were (in my opinion) hilarious.

Wow-it all sounds great! I tried to use the cross over to start my 4/24 Med. cruise-but my family said no! Have fun and get ready-we're coming on the 24th!!

Here is a pic of my July cruise - you can see Jeanne and her family - they are the blonds!
