our weather report said only 20-30% chance of rain tomorrow, high of 96, heat index of 105.
anyone have any ideas how to get rid of burned popcorn smell in the RV?

i didn't realize this microwave was so strong, i cut down the micro time and it still burned! even the neighbors smelled it, lol! i have a citronella burning outside and i left the door open with screen for awhile.
hey,i can hear the water pageant as i'm typing! i think the sun/swimming beat me down today, i stayed in tonight.

Try changing the power level on the microwave(not just the time), for the smell, open the windows, or ceiling vents and maybe some febreze. Enjoy the heat tomorrow, if you see a guy in a blue golf cart with the back seat facing frontward, say hi to my dad(bill), he is in the 1800 loop now till Tues(DM is in TN with me till Mon)

That was our weather forecast too (we are about an hour and a half south of you) and it poured on us today from about 3 on. I am not trusting the forecast for this weekend. The last I heard, the forecasters were touting an extremely dry Friday through Sunday. Bah! This is Florida!

BTW- I hope you get the smell out, I hate the burnt popcorn smell too!

To get burnt popcorn smell out of the microwave boil in a bowl water and vinegar for 5 min., let sit until cool wipe down microwave. I have done this more than once and it does work.

We saw you!!! My kids loved seeing those lamps. We rode around the loop in our golf cart one day and I think you were outside getting ready to go into your camper when we saw the lamps. We left there this past Tuesday.

Got to meet Winnie (olbear) this morning while taking my dog on her walk! molly got to meet paco, her adorable little chihuahua. she took a picture of their meeting, it was cute. Paco was giving molly the "sly eye", lol.
Nice meeting you Winnie, wish we could have met sooner in the week. Like i said, would rather have had YOU in the site next door, lol!

Winnie's neighbors did a great job of getting their huge Class A out of their site this morning. It was amazing how tight it was and they finally cleared all the obstructions and made it. we were behind them watching and holding our breath! They also were very nice people, had a cute little sheltie named Buddy.

we still have another week to go!

Yes, it was so nice to meet you, and I too wish we had met earlier in the week. We were just out and about having fun.

It went just waaayyy to fast! When you said you were bummed that you only had one more week I was like, let's switch places!! LOL!! Time does fly when you're having fun. And there is no funner place the WDW for us. Our neighbors you saw leaving were so wonderful. We chatted and visited alot. I told them about these boards so I'm sure she'll be visiting. They were Griff and Lieann, and their 11 yr old son Conrad. I got him hooked on pins!! And yes, Griff did quite a job getting his Class A out. Whew!!

Your Molly is so pretty and soooo soft! Our babies were so cute together. I can't wait to post pics. I have lots to share. I've started a trip report and will continue it in the next few days. I am so tired now. We have unpacked almost everything. I just wanna take a nap!!

OH NOOO! Was that at both places? I don't even know if they sell mugs at the Meadows trading post, I've only bought ours at Trail's End. I'm hoping if that's all they have now that it's a temporary thing. I definitely love the old timer's mug. Last time we were there someone was using one of the larger-sized old-timer mugs (I don't know how long ago those were used, it's the same picture just a wider mug like they sell at WL). The picture on it was in perfect condition, I wouldn't mind if they sold those, too.

the guy in front of me at trails end to go had the mug i wanted. i told her "i want one like him", lol. she said oh we don't sell those anymore. i said oh no! i said look how cute it is. i said what do you sell? she showed me and i said, no i don't want the christmas mug, i want the regular mug. she says that IS the regular mug! i said no way! then the guy with the good mug said he thought it looked christmasy too! i asked if this was all they had and she said yes, so i passed. she said this mug is good anywhere at any hotel where the old timers is only good at the fort. i don't even drink pop or anything, i just wanted that mug!

Today, after church, we decided to check out the character premier outlet over on vineland. it's usually hit or miss and today was definitely a miss! we came back, DH went golfing on magnolia for the $35 after 3 special and my son and i rode bikes down to the settlement area and had lunch at trails end since i could get the 10% discount with AP. it would help if i REMEMBERED to tell her about the AP discount! arrrggghhh!!! i sat out in a rocking chair until a guy a ways down started snoring and it got pretty loud! we biked back and changed into suits and went up to the pool, not too crowded at all. we had a noodle and a small football and had some fun playing around for a couple hours. came back and relaxed for a bit and will probably walk down to the beach later.

I don't know if the stumps are there but people still smoke on the porch. They were smoking around the pool, too.
