Good morning campers! How was your week?
Well, we professionally trained Chatologists here at the Saturday Night Chat Institute Of Molecular Wine and Jacuzzi Studies have been involved in some serious research lately, and we are quite excited and proud to announce that we have produced a major scientific breakthrough. Through trial and error, a series of tightly controlled experiments, and many hours of watching HBO, we have proven beyond a doubt that there is a direct correlation between the height of an actor's hair and their acting ability. . . i.e. the higher the hair, the worse the acting. We call this the "Baldwin Principle", and while most folks will have to wait until our research paper is published in the leading scientific journals, you lucky people are now privy to the results of this monumental study!!!
What does that have to do with chat this evening? Not a darn thing that we can think of, but it does prove the wisdom behind a saying we have around here at The Institute; "Warning!: Do Not Consume If Seal Is Broken!" . .
So as we bask in the glow of scientific accomplishment, we have decided the best way to reward ourselves is to (of course) throw a party . . . and this week's Disney After Dark will find us outside the gates of Pleasure Island enjoying the fine Italian cuisine of the Portobello Yacht Club !!! This upscale eatery not only provides excellent eating and drinking opportunities, but if we can get a couple of you to stage a fake fist fight, we should be able to distract the attendants long enough to sneak into Pleasure Island without paying the cover charge!
It should be a memorable evening . . . so tell the family you need a couple of hours by yourself online because you want to "find some wonderful gifts for all of you just because you mean so much to me", pour some NyQuil over ice, then join your chat hosts Sonjarella and WillyJ. this Saturday night in the Main Chat Lobby at 9PM EST. It's a lot of fun and a great opportunity to hang out with your fellow DIS'ers and get to know each other better in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
As always, general Disney or Universal questions are encouraged and appreciated, and there will be a room full of Orlando veterans there to help you out. . .
