Hi everyone!! 
Checked in at the CR last night for a one stay before our GF stay. Booked a Garden Wing Deluxe room (this is a huge room with king bed, oversized bathroom with a walk-in shower, actual sofa bed (not a daybed) and sitting area. It has two big sliders with a view overlooking the pool and Bay Lake. Upon check-in at 6PM, found the room dirty. Urine on the toilet seat EW, various hairs all over the duvet (along with magic marker on the side of it) and the floor didn't look vacuumed.
Called front desk and they moved us to the Tower with a great MK view on the 11th floor (VERY nice!). Still housekeeping issues... found cheerios all over by the daybed (a LOT) but after schlepping our luggage all around we couldn't complain (much better than what we found in the other room LOL).
Parking is limited by the North wing construction. They have a gazillion spots for valet right in front but only 5 spaces occupied LOL. We were parked right across from space mountain LOL. We don't mind the walk but I can see how some would get annoyed by this.
Fourth floor dining area a ZOO. People complaining at the podium about not being to get in as a walk-up at Concourse, lines everywhere. We checked in for our 7:50 ADR at Concourse and after waiting 30 min, just gave up and ate counter service. It was late and we decided we wanted to eat light anyway so no big deal.
In room computer and free internet is nice. Overall, room is pretty but impractical IMO, especially the bathroom. Cream duvets in a vacation resort where there are kids?? Just doesn't seem to make sense to me. Again, no flames, JMO! Seems to be a problem with birds on the balconies, poop everywhere, had to use the bathroom towels to sit outside this AM.
Anyways, just a few observations. Checking in at the GF today... hope it's a bit more smooth.

Sorry about the trouble you had with a dirty room/s at the Contemporary! At least you got upgraded to the Tower with a MK view! 
Don't worry about missing out on Concourse Steakhouse! We just went in October, and our meal was not great, plus, it's very loud! I hope you have a great time at the Grand Floridian! We'll be checking in on Thursday!
