live from OKW - i love this place

we haven't stayed here for about 3 years, so I'd forgotten how much i love this place...
I really truly love it....
i could live here year round.....

and it's in such great shape....i thought it might be long in the tooth, but no....everything is ship shape...in perfect condition...they must have recently refurbished as everything seems brand new....

just a great great resort...

I'll be there on July 22, and I must tell you I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!! After a couple of days at OKW I'm off to the "Wonder" 4 more days of sun & fun! Take good care of OKW till I get there!! Hope you have lots of fun!!! Does the Sand castle at the main pool look as good in person as it does in pictures?

I agree too!! They really keep OKW is top condition and makes me comfortable with owning any DVC.

to be honest, we haven't gone to the main pool...we're staying right next to one of the quiet pools and we're happy with that...

but the whole place seems spruced up....and all the CMs are wonderful here....

OKW stays that way - that is what you are paying operating and maintence fees for in the annual fee.

I don't think I have ever stayed there when it was less than fine!

Glad to hear that your trip is starting out so well! Where at OKW is your villa located? Now that I finally have a handle on the various "sections" of OKW, I can actually understand what people mean when they say South Point, etc.

I once heard of a retired couple that had enough pts to stay there from January through March -- and did! They made it their winter home!

The annual maintenance fees are probably unbelievable but, boy, I'd sure love to have to deal with that little problem...

We usually request the Turtle Pond area. The last time we were they we were in South Point. Loved it there!

Can you give me an idea of the activities for kids (mine are girls 4,6 & 8) that they have planned at Community Hall? Would love to work some of these into our October schedule! Are they mostly in the morning, afternoon, evenings? Thanks!!
