Live from...OAHU...with a message from FIDELIO!

Okay, it's really convoluted to explain, but I'm in Oahu and Maui for two weeks and just got a message via PM that our friend Fidelio was in chat and wanted to let folks know that he will be on the Magic from Aug 2-Sept 27.

Fidelio was having problems posting but I think I have fixed that so you may see him on the boards as well.

It seems appropriate that I'm in my lime green bikini with the laptop on the deck overlooking the ocean while I'm typing this.

Just wanted to pass the message along!

This is incredible news!

Michael had a lot of dental work yesterday in the morning and I had mine in the afternoon (and scheduled for the root canal on Thursday!) So it was a horrible day for us......at least our dentist is nice!

Fidelio, you impressed Michael so much that he wanted lessons and now he practices all the time. At 8 years old, he is your biggest fan (besides your mother!) and I hope you know how much your being on the Magic will mean to him and to the Fidelio Fan Club!!!!!

Who is Fidelio? Since I will be on the ship when he is there, could someone fill me in? If this is a "must-see," this is a need-to-know situation. Pleeeese forgive me Rae for not knowing.

Fidelio is one half of the Dueling Pianos Duo that plays in Off Beat. They are very funny and play almost every night, sometimes twice. They even do a show for kids. They both play the piano and take any suggestion from the audience. I don't think there is a song out there Fidelio doesn't know. There has been talk that Off Beat is to be replaced while the Magic is in Dry Dock this fall with the Teen Club. This would mean no place for Fidelio to "duel"

Fidelio is very loved by the DISers and we don't want Off Beat to go away....
