Just because something strikes you as odd doesn't mean that:

(a) it ruins your trip
(b) you spend more than a fleeting second here or there thinking about it
or
(c) you are judgmental, evil human being who doesn't deserve to be a part of Walt's Dream and should be forced to visit only Six Flags from here to eternity.

Ok, with that out of the way...

The million and one people walking around WDW with buttons proclaiming that its their birthday, anniversary, first trip, billionth trip, etc. drives me nuts. No one really cares and I think that people wearing them do so because they think it will get them something.

Oh...the Mickey and Minnie wedding ears are silly as well. I always feel sorry for the grooms because I can't imagine many of them choose those ears for themselves.

Don't leave me hanging guys...I know someone else has a teensy little WDW thing to get off their chest. :)

My biggest peeve is that it's so far away...(guess that would be my fault though)...

However, some smokers not actually using the designated areas is my biggest. (Along with smokers who do use the designated areas but have their young children/babies in strollers pulled right up in the middle of the smoking area surrounded by all the smokers). Blech!!!

The fact that unless you make dinning reservations 6 months in advance you're SOL for certain restaurants. No spontaneity at all!

What my dd calls the "Disney World walkers." You know, the people that walk SOOOOO slowly and then stop dead in the middle of the road for conference around the map.

We occasionally run into these same people at our local Target and mall. :rotfl:

It kinda irks me that there's no park-to-park bus service.

What do you mean "park-to-park" bus service? All 4 WDW parks are connected by bus, monorail or boats.

For me it’s definitely the smokers who are too lazy to walk to the nearest “designated smoking area”. Also, the “special” families that try to squeeze in front of you 5 minutes before the parade or fireworks after you’ve been waiting for an hour (and even worse when they try and play the “we don’t speak English” card!)

I second you on this. It's just as easy to move to the right or left to converse.

The coffee - WHY WHY WHY can I not get DECENT Coffee while I'm on vacation. What I wouldn't give for a Starbucks by the end of the week. Not that I'm DVC - I bring my own coffee from home.

Coke Products - We are Pepsi people. And I understand having only Coke products in the resorts and parks - but the Hess gas stations also only have Coke products in their stores!

They are? Really? I didn't know that.

I always thought that if I needed to go from Epcot to AK, for example, I'd have to bus to a resort, then switch busses to AK.

Maybe I've never looked hard enough, but I've never seen a bus stop at a park that will take you directly to another park.

Chloe's mom your comment made me laugh, DH said the exact same thing. Last week the only place we found a really decent cup of coffee was at Cape May Cafe.

What irks me to no end is people taking advantage of wheelchairs/scooters. As the parent of a child with special needs this sends me right over the edge.

OK I confess that I think the grooms ears hat is pretty dorky :rolleyes1
Since I was just there last week, I can think of a a couple things. People not wearing enough deorderant :sad2: , people stopping dead in their tracks in the middle of a walkway and a little girl on a leash at Crystal Palace that was trying to beat up Pooh Bear! :rolleyes1

People who stop in the middle of a walkway to look at their maps. Dude, PULL OVER to the side to figure out how to get to Splash Mountain! Those of us who already know would like to get by! (same goes for the local mall, heck, any public place!).

I'll tell you what irritates me at WDW. I get irritated just thinking about it. That God-awful Nescafe that they serve. Gross. All I want is some good coffee - is that too much to ask???

Try living here. The dining plan has made it impossible to just decide to go over to the parks or hotels for dinner. :sad1:

We're DVC members, so this is no longer an issue...but it used to peeve me to pay for a long distance call to book a vacation. Sheesh...the Holiday Inns we stayed at on the way down and back all have 800 phone #s, why couldn't WDW get off the wallet?

Yeah! What she said, my 2 favorite things outside of Disney are Starbucks and Diet Pepsi. I hate not being able to get those at WDW. Though the smokers outside the smoking areas are a bigger annoyance. Especially the ones with the cigarette dangling down at kid eye level. At POFQ this weekend, I was telling my friends about the smoking areas after seeing one person in the designated spot enjoying the nice morning when we then noticed a guy in his bathrobe hanging over the balcony smoking his cigarette. :confused3

We stay at the Boardwalk that has a bakery that serves lattes - etc. So I figured at least that be a little better. Typically they were already out of Vanilla Lattes, or they would give me the wrong size, or they would give me just plain coffee. I think they got my order right twice out of the 6 times I was there. :rotfl: Such is life. I've learned my lesson now - I'm bringing coffee and my vanilla caramel coffeemate with me next time. :)
