Today's green Disney character is:

Disgust from Inside Out

Inside Out is one of my favorite Disney/Pixar movies! (...though Joy is my favorite character.) I never noticed before, but in looking up facts for this post, I learned that Disgust is shaped like a piece of broccoli, playing off the vegetable Riley hates. She is voiced by Mindy Kaling in the original film and Liza Lapira in the sequel.

Some trivia from the Pixar Wiki:
As shown in concept art, as well as in the first clips shown at the 2013 D23 Expo, Disgust was first designed with a purple dress, had longer hair, and did not wear lipstick or have long eyelashes. Interestingly, while Riley's Disgust ended up having a green dress in the final film, Riley's mom's Disgust has retained a purple dress.

Today's green character is Mike Wazowski, from Monsters Inc. -



Some Trivia from the Disney Wiki -

Mike is renamed "Robert 'Bob' Razowski" in the French dub.

Mike appears in the end credits of Cars as a small car, where he argues with Sulley, like in Monsters, Inc.

Eddie Murphy originally auditioned for the role of Mike Wazowski but turned down the role due to being in Shrek. In addition to Murphy, David Schwimmer, Drew Carey, Sinbad, Robin Williams, Jack Black, and Matthew Broderick auditioned for the role of Mike Wazowski.

During Billy Crystal's Hollywood Chinese Theatre Hand/footprint ceremony in April 2019, a small foot stamp in the shape of Mike's was also pressed into the cement next to Crystal's actual prints and signature and written "Mike W."

from the Disney Wiki - Tinker Bell is a sassy fairy, who serves as Peter Pan's sidekick. Tink regularly joins Peter on his exploits throughout the magical isle of Neverland. She values their relationship so much, that the presence of other girls (particularly Wendy Darling), causes her to become insanely jealous and spiteful.

Tinker Bell is equipped with Pixie Dust, which grants herself and others the ability to fly, so long as they think "wonderful thoughts". She is a largely silent character, speaking a fairy language that is unintelligible to most humans. Her vocalizations are instead expressed in the form of a light jingling noise reminiscent of a bell.

Since her inception, Tinker Bell has become one of Disney's most popular and iconic characters. Known for flying toward the screen and sprinkling it with pixie dust, Tink has featured heavily as a spokesperson for The Walt Disney Company (along with Mickey Mouse and Jiminy Cricket). She eventually became the focus of her own franchise, Disney Fairies.

What are your favorite memories of Tinker Bell?

I associate her with watching the Wonderful World of Disney as a kid, and I think I remember seeing a school production of the play when I was pretty little - clapping to wake her up.

My favorite Tink memory is meeting her at MK on New Year's Day and the park was empty. She was so chatty and there was no one in line so she just hung out with us a while. My dd, who was 5 at the time, was like "Wow she really liked us!" as we were leaving.

Walked to and from the restaurant last night to celebrate my brother-in-law’s 70th birthday.
25 minute to get there and 20 minutes home. It was uphill going to The Golden Elephant and thankfully downhill going home
