little 'thank you' gift for a teacher?

Hey guys, do you have any ideas for a little thank you gift for a teacher? Not really for a special occasion, not a holiday gift, just a 'thank you'?
A handmade card? A flower (with school colors)? A muffin from Dunkin Donuts? Just a little 'I appreciate you' thing? Thanks!

I sometimes give my kids' teachers a little bag filled with Hershey Kisses. I then wrap the bag in cardstock and decorative paper that looks like notebook paper. I made my DS's teacher notecards for her birthday. Last year, we brought DS's kindergarten teacher (and the 2 other kindergarten teachers) lunch - simple chef salad, iced tea, brownies. They really seemed to appreciate that. I don't know if that helps you at all.

I have had parents do simple things like bring lunch for me when they bring it for their child. One year I had a mom who was a great cook- she would make the most amazing soup. I got to enjoy hot soup every once in a while- it was great on those days when I needed a pick me up. That year my DD was really sick and this mom always knew when I need a pick me up!
I do not drink coffee but I love hot apple cidar- One of my moms brings me in a cup from starbucks every once in a while- it's truely the small things that are loved.
What ever you do the teacher will love it because it is coming from the heart.
