Will it have fastpass or are they going to make the same mistake as toy story?

No FP for Little Mermaid.... I think this is a good long term idea as the line for TSMM is never more than 45 minutes whilst with FP at DW the line gets out of control (2 hours) and FPs are all gone by late morning.... There can be 15 plus minute waits to get FPs then a wait in the FP line when you come back...

By the time CA is finished there will be six big ticket rides which should hopefully spread the wait times around even more...

CA is never going to attract the same crowds that DL does...

Lol, as of now, as you put it, they are making "the same mistake as Toy Story", although Toy Story at Disneyland doesn't get anywhere near as crowded as the one at WDW. A wait time of 60 minutes on a very crowded day is probably the max, but it's usually closer to 30 minutes-40 minutes on a weekend, and can be less than that on a weekday.

Also, Little Mermaid is designed to be a fast-loading attraction like Haunted Mansion, so while the lines will be very long when it first opens, the idea is that eventually things will level off and crowds will be able to move through smoothly.

On the bright side, when Little Mermaid opens, some of the Toy Story crowds will likely dissipate in favor of the new attraction
