From what I understand, they did contact someone for the Illinois Little League but the concerns were dismissed. I believe that while the EP guy was the first there were many others who continued to file complaints and that is what caused the higher ups to investigate. This whole thing is a joke in how it is being handled in Chicago. The mayor calling and asking them to reinstate, I mean seriously why can nobody while acknowledgeing it is tough for the kids that mistakes were made and the right thing to do is to take the title away. If a MLB team was being dosed with steriods by their trainer without their knowledged they would still be held responsible. Like others have said, these kids while I don't blame them, knew they were playing somewhere that wasn't their home city. I heard a kid came from Lansing(I think that is the town, but from the same town as Val Warner who is a tv personality), she even said one of the kids on the team was from her son's school.
