Happy Mother's Day, Lisa!

Oh well. I have been stuck to my work and DS' cpus. Not much time for Wishing on either.

I tried. We had steady customers 6:30-12:30, a few minutes break and then it started up again until about 2:30. Rarely a person left who didn't buy something. I told him there is just too much and we need another one. I'm just tired.

She is spending the weekend with us and her parents and a couple other families are coming over this evening. Another reason I am so happy that DD and I will be out of town for a few days. Get over the initial hump of them leaving.
But not talking about it is HARD! Almost slipped up once, but I caught myself just in time. I can not believe that we have been able to keep this a secret. DD will be spending Monday and Tuesday with April, so I will be able to pack without her suspecting anything. I will be telling Gram Sunday night. I can't trust her not to say something, plus she is going to be upset that we are leaving her home. But I have struggled with this and held fast to my decision. 1) this is strictly a trip for DD and I know if she were to go, we would be limited with what we could do and it would end up being about her and 2) I just don't have the $$ to take her also. I have been budgeting very carefully and was very excited to see gas going down a few cents. Don't get me wrong, we are fine but I don't like it when my budget gets extended un-neccessarily. I did just see about the new mermaid experience they have at the Pirate League, but of course they are full for the time we are there.
Oh well, I thought that might be fun for her as she loves to dress up but doesn't want to do BBB anymore. I'll just take the curlers and pins with me and we will do Mom's BBB again. That worked well in November.

But I accepted, it may come in handy if I need to find a Target.

I can't wait to hear all about your trip when you get back!
I hope you and your DD had a wonderful time in WDW!
Not a way to leave WDW and have to drive for 12 hours. We got a late start and had to stop more than usual, but we finally made it home. It was my own fault too. I knew better. So many people were there coughing and hacking and I didn't make sure to wash my hands as often as I should have. I am so dilgent at work about it and completely went lax at WDW.
Now I am paying. I am finally feeling better but the coughing is driving me crazy.
But she was never actually sick. We stopped a couple of times, but she was very quiet and didn't eat dinner. We arrived to Tallahasse late and went straight to bed. The next morning I gave her clothes to put on and when she saw her shirt, her eyes got big and she said "are you serious?" She still wasn't feeling 100% but I did get a little squel of delight. We arrived at Pop by 2:00, room was ready, we had lunch and hit the pool. That evening we went to MK. She was so happy just being there. and I was too.
I hope you are feeling much better soon!
Did your DD start feeling better once you were at MK?
I hope you are feeling better and that you got some rest over the weekend!
First I was sick and then got worse. Saturday (Jun 4) we had the dance awards luncheon. Going to it, I was okay, but the air was out and in the middle of the day when it is 95 outside, is not a good thing. I ended up over heating. At 2:30pm, I went to bed and didn't get back up until 6:00pm the next day. DH said I looked better, but asked me to stay home and go to the doctor the next day. The doctor shook his head, gave me the same lecture my old doctor used to give me and told me to go back to bed. I did until time for dance class. It was our last class, so I had to be there. I am better now. Still have a cough, but much better.
I bet you did a wonderful job!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

your way, my friend. Please don't be so hard on yourself.
We all have times in our lives where things don't go exactly as we have planned. It's okay!
Just remember, baby steps will get you where you want to go. Take things step by step and day by day and you will accomplish your goals. I know you CAN do it, Lisa!
and second of all you are not a failure! You are human.
We miss you!
He also has a new motivation to do well. A couple of his friends go to the same dance school as DD and I. Next Spring Break the dance school will be going to Disney for a dance work shop. The girls want him to go and him going is contigent on his grades. He told the girls it was the only way he could go. They will help him keep on his grades. Whatever works.
I figure I can't give up. We'll see what happens.
