Good morning! I'm trying to be good and post more often so here I am.
I've been staying pretty much OP. I'm not staying on induction as strictly as I should but pretty close. Yesterday I had a small amount of oatmeal for breakfast. Lunch was 2 small turkey burger patties, broccoli and sliced tomato. Dinner was two a hot dog and scrambled eggs, little bit of whole milk.
I weighed this morning and I'm down to 162.8. Woohoo! I'm keeping my carbs pretty low, so it must be working. Well, we'll have to see what Monday brings, hopefully a little whoosh. Seeing the scale move is motivating to stay focused.
Beth, Doe, the mall is the best place to walk and get in a little exercise. It's just coincidence that they have all those cute clothes!
Lisa, yes, we Atkins people can definitely have oatmeal. Actually, you'd be surprised at the variety the plan allows. There are so many misconceptions out there. If I were on maintenance, I could even have potatoes, or beans. It's just a matter of limiting those items, but it doesn't mean you can't have them at all. I'm not at the point where I'm eating foods higher in in carbs yet, but I'll introduce them slowly once I get much closer to my goal weight.
