I'm pretty sure Lisa (your travel agent!) dyed her crinoline pink. Did you talk to her about it? Our friend Vanessa dyed hers red. They both did a great job.

Talked to her? More like drive her CRAZY! lol Seriously I am not that bad but yes I have asked her like three times do you think I can do this myself, I won't screw this up....she had to be shaking her head b/c she was like you will be fine! LOL

Yes she did pink as well, she sent me directions with pictures!

Well DF and I stayed home today to clean up after the hurricane...we had to clean the entire fridge out as some food spoiled as we were without electric for 28 hours! After 11 we took all the frozen items to DF's mothers as she had power and an extra freezer!

So we were very productive as we did our welcome bags, check them out:

We are very excited to put them together and put all the items that could leak into a small zip loc bag as I am mailing the bags to the ship so they can be put in the cabins for each guest...Instead of embroidery I opted for the buttons that say "I'm Celebrating" as the guests can than re-use them with out having to explain over and over "Yes I was at a Disney wedding, yes on the DCL, oh yes it was amazing!"

PS Thank you SOOOO much Josie for picking these up for me at the park, you are the B-E-S-T!

The little tags say "Welcome Aboard" and were from Etsy...they are great Kelly did an awesome job!

Here is a closer look at all the items I collected...I did not pay for anything in full either. The Lands End bags were on sale 20 percent off on top of 3 dollars off each bag when you purchase three or more. The sun screen I got really cheap by stacking coupons at BJs. All the trial size items were free through couponing and the magnets and note pad were free through Vistaprint.com!!!!

Here a few other items of importance!

Rob's ring came in! Sorry the shots are not that great, it is a point and shoot camera! lol

We got these signs that say "Just Married and Thank You" as photo props

These are stickers for the bottoms of our shoes....they are SO cute and I cannot wait to see the pics we get with these!

That is how they came packaged for us...another great seller on Etsy!

Overall we have made so much progress! I am hoping within the next two weeks to get Rob's suit for the Magic Kingdom photo shoot done as well....I will end this with a pic of Abby who LOVED cleaning up outside. We took our pool down for the storm and Abby thought it was great! lol

Took the day off from work so my truck could have a "spa" day! lol I am on here catching up with the threads and I must say my ticker has me SO nervous....does that really say 1 month and 3 weeks and days? OMG! lol

Hey all!

Busy day over here in NJ

I went through all my items last night that will be mailed ahead. Shanda is sending the labels out to me so I can get a box together (yeah it is gonna be a BIG one) and today I am going to MAC for my make up trial!!! I also have a few other things that I need to put together/order that I would like to have completed this weekend...

My obsession as of late: the welcome bags...they just keep getting items added to them! LOL

I worked it out with Shanda that the welcome bags would be placed in each cabin waiting for the guests. Their was a charge of 2 dollars a bag but it was worth it for the extra surprise factor

I am also working with my Magic Kingdom photo shoot coordinator on a special request for our photo shoot...fingers crossed it all works out and if it does I will def. post and let others know if they can then also make the same request!

I hope everyone enjoys this somber weekend, it amazes me how much time has passed since 9/11 yet it feels like just yesterday to me.

I am SO excited with all the progress I made this weekend

Make up from MAC done and my Sis keeps telling me she will be able to do it just like the MAC artist...if she comes even half way close I will still look great! I had the artist put it on at 12:30, at 11 PM I was still fresh looking and the fake eye lashes were still on pretty tight!

I bought little starfish hair pins to go in my hair, I think they will look adorable for the pics

I also picked up a few more things for the welcome bags and the final Vistaprint order should be back pretty soon so they can get mailed out to Shanda!

I printed out all our dining reservations for while we are in WDW and added it to my planning book...I cannot wait for the Food and Wine Festival!

I went to Michael's and picked up 5x7 mat frames. I am going to have them signed by all the characters (you give them to the front desk with a box of sharpies, they get all the character signatures!) in which I will send out as Thank you's once we return from the cruise with a pic of each guest with thier fave character!

I also picked up green ribbon with white polka dots to wrap around the wedding favors, T-shirts!!!

I started packing too...I am so glad that we are done shopping for clothes..this is always a process for me as I try them on when I get home and return what don't fit right after the fact

Next weekend....the suit for Magic Kingdom!!!!

I never knew about the character signatures, that is such an awesome idea. I want to do that with one of our wedding photos. So you just drop the matt off to the front desk of the hotel we are staying at?

It might only work for the DCL since they have access to all the characters...I would def. give your hotel a call to see if they can do the same thing!

Hello all! I am so excited to be able to post pics of our flowers for our wedding! We went with silks mostly b/c we are having a DCL wedding plus our guests will be able to keep them! I had a bouquet made for myself for our Magic Kingdom shoot as well! Our shoot is about 10 days after the wedding and I did not want to worry about my bouquet wilting Here you go, check them out!

My bouquet for the MK shoot on the left, my sister's on the right for the wedding! She has a hot pink dress so I think the flowers will look great!!

These are for both Mom's.

This is for DF to wear at our MK shoot!

This is for the father of the bride and for the Best Man

Another view of the bouquets from the top, I also bought crystals to add some "Mickey" touches!

That will be our wedding favors, shirts made for the ladies/men with a personal thank you notecard on each favor

A coloring book for the lil guy coming along on our cruise, he loves Woody!

I cannot wait to get a pic of this with my wedding dress

...and last but not least my mother got an idea to have our dogs (the yellow and chocolate labs Casey & Abby) as well as my sister's pug Princess take pics as the bride, groom and flower girl. They came out totally cute! lol

I am still waiting on a few more things from Etsy and cannot wait for my rhinestones to come to put together the "Team Bride" hoodies!!!

Flowers look great and it will be nice to not have to worry about your park shoot. Favors look great as well as your hanger.

I cannot believe how fast time is really flying! I am getting my dress bustled this week and it scares me to have to put the dress back on! lol I keep thinking oh my gosh what if I rip it or something...lol

It took many shots to get the pics of the girls but they were good sports
