Trying to see if this makes the pic smaller...

This is a photo of our oldest, 3 yo, lab...Casey :yay:

So we are moving on with our wedding planning! I am going out with a girlfriend of mine and we are going to start working on the silk flowers for the bridal party, I have to make three in all! Here is a photo of what I am looking to make:

I am going to wrap the bottom with that sheer white ribbon and put little swarvorski crystals that look like hidden Mickeys! I am soooo excited..we are moving along with our planning...

We are also taking my soon to be MIL to get her passport next month. I am going to get the park hoppers for our honeymoon next month too, I found that for 285 pp for a week, park hopper! Just waiting for my trade to come through as I am trying to get into DVC with our RCI timeshare!

CONGRATULATIONS on passing the licensing exam! WONDERFUL!!!!! :cool1:

I love your dress! Can't wait to get detail shots of the back, especially. Great photo of you and Rob on your last cruise, too!

Is super excited to be going out with my girl Patti on Thursday, we are going to start looking at floral to make the bridesmaid bouquets!

I am so looking forward to the warmer weather, DF and I are gonna walk more and take the doggies to the dog park...it will also be nice to see the sun for a change! lol

We picked out our wedding rings today! I am so excited! I will be able to pick mine up within a couple of weeks and my Fiances will be picked up around mothers day as our jeweler offers a discount of a few hundred dollars then! We are so excited and I cannot wait to post pics of them! :)

So excited to follow along with you. Geoff and I are getting married on Castaway Cay right after you on 11-12-11. It will be fun to follow along with you!

I guess I have been having some of the "destination wedding blues"...both of my bridesmaids cannot make it to them wedding and decide this AFTER they booked...it is very frustrating but I am determined not to let this ruin the planning experience. To be honest it has helped me appreciate my education and my determination to stay ahead and be productive. Money issues are for most people right now, I get it, but I was so frustrated that my girls could not be in my wedding. :(

I am working with a floral artist sometime this upcoming month and having a bouquet made for me out of silk, a smaller one for my sister and boutonnieres for both my parents and my DF's mother. The bouquet I am having made of silk for me will be for my Magic Kingdom shoot! I think next on my list is to get our park hoppers as I get a good rate through work. I am just hoping we don't get slammed with a fuel surcharge because gas is VERY expensive right now! :sad2:

I feel your pain. I have one bridesmaid who wants to come, but just can't swing the cost and another that hasn't shown much interest at all in my wedding planning. Ae you having something at home after the wedding? I too am a bit frustrated, but it is that all the lower cat. are sold out and none of my DF has booked. I know people were already complaining of the cost, and now that just means they probably will not come :( I did my best to warn them in October, what else could I have done :confused3

I am so sorry for both of you. It is for those reasons that I didn't ask any of my friends to be in the wedding. I have my 2 sisters standing up on my side, and Geoff has his brother and sister for his side. The beauty of getting married on Castaway Cay is you can do it however you want. You dont even need to have anyone stand up there with you if you didn't want them to. Just keep in mind...it is all about YOU and the person you are marrying and that is really all that matters. At the end of the day, you will have stood on an incredible beach vowing to spend the rest of your life with the awesome guy that stood on the beach with you!

I also started to plan something for when we got back but it was all about accommodating everyone else. I finally decided that the people who really wanted to be there would be there and everyone else can see pictures. I have 61 people coming on the cruise. (55 are booked) I refuse to let getting married stress me out in any way!

Please don't lose sight that it is about you and your fiance!

It is very stressful that people say, Oh but it is so expensive and all that when I told them about this at like 19 months out! They had two years to save AND it was much cheaper when I booked then! Now the ship is sold out so we have a total of 15 people when we were at about 28...it is totally crazy but I refuse to let it get me down. Both my friends made horrible decisions with money and unfortunately it caught up to them. They will still do all the things here just won't be able to attend.

We had a really big engagement party so I am not going to throw something when we get back. I don't see spending more money...I am quite content just it being me and my fiance at Castaway Cay!

Nah, this is more of the "I did your bridal shower, bachlorette party AND baby shower and now I get oh sorry honey your wedding is just too expensive!" Really? Because I feel like I am an ATM for all my friends!

My sister will be there but I will not have any one up there when DF and I are getting married it will just be us! I am not super close to my sister anyway and to be honest I really thought my friends would come through on this one!

The pictures alone and memories from our wedding/honeymoon/and MK shoot will be priceless...I cannot wait we are at 8 months tomorrow! :)

I signed up for the Disney Honeymoon Registry today! I was so surprised to see that you can add your Magic Kingdom shoot as something for people to help pay towards! I was very happy to see this as that was a splurge for our wedding! I cannot wait for the bridal shower now! lol

8 Months until your wedding! Woo Hoo!!! The time is going so fast! That is wonderful that people can help with the MK photoshoot as a wedding present! That is something you will cherish forever! I cannot wait to see your pictures!
