I purchased those little chocolate bottles with liquor in them to bring to WDW with us. Now I'm wondering if we're allowed to bring liquor on the plane in a carry on?

Should be no problem as long as you do not open them and "drink" them on the plane.

Thanks Gail!
Since we're on an 8 a.m. flight I don't think any of our crew would want to drink them LOL.

Be sure you have them padded well. I once took a flight where someone had placed liquor in the overhead bins. The bottle had broken on the flight before ours. As we took off the liquor leaked out of the bin and all over two rows of people.

I didn't appreciate the fact that I smelled like liquor until I could get to my hotel room. The gentleman beside me had dressed in his business suit and was soaked. He wasn't very happy that he was going to have to attend a meeting like this.

They did pay for the cleaning bills but it would have been better if they had packed better.

ok, good idea.........i'll put them in plastic bags and pad them with something, too. They're in a box and there are 12 of us all sitting together, so everyone will be careful.
thanks

DisneyHumbug,
8am might be too early for your crew, but probably not too early for the flight crew...

In your carry on bags, you should be ok.. I wouldn't pack them in your checked luggage.. With the new rules regarding the checked luggage, you are not supposed to bring food or drink in checked luggage.. It can set off the scanning machines that are now in place and they will have to open your luggage.. You may want to check with the airline to be sure, but they were just announcing all these new rules regarding checked bags on our news last night.

I have carried on a bottle of wine (well packed) in my carry-on without a problem. I think as long as your liqour is in a sealed bottle and well packed, you shouldn't have a problem.
