hello~

So I am a disney nut! My dream job would be to work for disney! I am really considering some type of internship in college with disney :) For my graduation this year from high school my parents sent my friend and I to disney world for spring break. We stayed at AKL with savannah view and had meal plans. It was the most incredible experience ever!
Anyway...here is my question...for my 18th bday I want to see Lion king on broadway. I will be seeing it at the Kimmel center in Philadelphia. I loved the show at animal kingdom..and lion king is my favorite disney movie. My family likes Lion King and loves the music. Is the show really worth seeing? Any advice would be great. Thanks! ~smiles4life

We saw the Lion King in New York last August and it was the best. Make sure you get orch. seats. You wont be disappointed! If it comes to Dallas, I will take the rest of my family. It was great.

Totally agree. My neighbor was ill and couldn't go and sold me her ticket (at a discount!) to see it in NY and I have to say, it wasn't my first pick to see nor my 5th, bottom line, it was an awesome play....I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Have fun!!

It was great. I took my DD when she was 4 and she had a blast. I was afraid that she might get bored, but she was glued to the action. It was very creative the way they did things.

I've only seen it in the West End, but never on Broadway. If it's identical (I guess it is), it is a very creative and enjoyable show.
Great place for a birthday!

Enjoy yourself.

I went to see the one in London and it was outstanding. Most people I know who have seen it also thought so. Highly recommended.

I'm sure the Broadway show will have the same script and songs. I would think the best performers on either side of the pond would be of equal calibre.

Enjoy.

The New Amsterdam Theater is awesome!. This is an amazing musical and I would happily see it again. Nancy

My dgf and I saw it two weeks ago in NYC at the Amsterdam. It was AWESOME!! Highly HIGHLY recommended for any Disney nut.

Now she wants to see Mary Poppins. Oh well, twist my arm is you must!
