Linking

We will be traveling with some extended family. They will be using military tickets and this will probably be a once in a lifetime trip.

So, I have a MDE account set up for my family and we are wanting to plan some FP+s together. Is it easier to add them as friends under my account and send them an email to join in on planning or would it be better to get them to set up their own account and link them afterwards. We will be including them in our on-site reservation also.

I haven't done any linking and have seen reports of problems sometimes, so we are wanting to do what would be easiest and still allow them to do some booking themselves. Is there any problems removing them from my account after the trip? Is there any reason it wouldn't be a good idea to just add their names under my account?

Thanks for any help. After 10 trips, I've never felt so unsure of what I am doing. I think even our first trip I felt better prepared.

We are also going with 4 other families, 1 military, 2 passholders and 1 with 7 day tickets. Each family did do their own account and invited as friends so each of us can reserve for the other and see each others plans. We just did our 60 day this week. Last year I had 2 nieces on my account and I just called and had them removed.
