If I buy my tickets from Undercover Tourist, can I link this to MDE? If so how? I will be staying onsite, so that means I can book FP's 60 days, so that means I would want to buy tickets and have them linked in time for my 60 day window right?

Yes. There's a code on the ticket that you enter into MDE to link your tickets.

You would want to link them before your FP+ window opens just in case there's a problem. There WAS a problem with linking UT when they first introduced the program but that has since been fixed. However, you never no when problems might pop up.

Yes, you can do this no problem. When my tickets arrived in the mail, I simply logged in to MDE, went to My tickets and entered the numbers off the back of the tickets to link them to each member of my family. I have since been able to book my FP+ experiences. Everything worked exactly as it should. :thumbsup2

Thank you!!!

Any chance of Ticket price increase between now and end of year?
I don't actually need my ticket until Jan for my 60 day window, so figured I could order in mid December. Worried about price increase though.....:confused3

There's always a chance so no one can reply never, but the ticket prices have already gone up once this year so most likely no. UT tickets were easy to link into our MDE account. The numbers on the back bottom left are easy to read and we had no problems at all. Even linked our friends tickets so we have all 10 people together.

Good luck!!!

Another good thing about Undercover Tourist is that they don't immediately raise their prices when Disney does.

They will not raise them until they sell out and have to buy the new higher priced tickets from Disney.

Extension of this question.....how does this work with Magic Bands?
We have booked DVC rental points thru a member to stay on property.
Does this mean I will get Magic Bands and can link my tickets to the Magic Bands as well?

Staying on property entitles you to Magic Bands, although I think they would get sent to the person you're renting from, but I'm not sure on that.

Nothing gets linked to the Magic Bands. The Magic Bands are just a way to access the informtion on your MDE account. You would therefore link the tickets to your MDE account.

I rented points on my last stay..magicbands were sent to me, with our names printed on them. Key the ticket number on your MDE to link it.

I wasn't sure since I've never rented points, but from what I've read, everything else has to be done through the member, so I thought I should mention it as a possibility.

With Mousesaver link UT is 4 cents cheaper ;)
I just looked at UT (with Mousesavers discount) and Official Ticket Center (with Touring Plans discount), and the Ticket Center was about $10 cheaper for an adult 10-day hopper.

We actually buy tickets from UT and stay on-site as guests of DVC members. After you link your tickets and reservation on My Disney Experience, the option to personalize your magic bands will appear on the website. If you live in the USA, the bands will be shipped to your home; if you live outside of the USA, the bands will be shipped to the DVC resort and you will get them when you check in.

I am very close to my 60 day window. If I order through UT, do I need to wait until I get the hard tickets in the mail to access the code?
