Not sure if anyone can help my wife and I both have the MDE app… she can see our passes and park reservations… even when she shares with me I can’t no see our plans…. And when I try to link our hotel reservations in my MDE app it said it’s already linked to me ?

has anyone had this happen? Or know of any possible solution?

Has she sent you a friends and family invite through MDE? You should be able to see your plans, tickets and hotel reservations if she did and you accepted.

Yes she has.. I can see our park reservations.. AP for her and I (not the two kids pass) and the hotel reservation we just changed .. had OKW changed to Poly… I enter the new hotel confirmation number in my MDE app and it says its already linked to me

You won't see the kids' passes because they don't have an MDE account from which to send a F&F invitation.

Your hotel reservation should update to Poly within 48 hours of making the change as long as the reservation number did not change. There have been reports of it not updating on the plans page but if you go to check in, it shows the new resort. Disney IT at its finest.

To see the kids’ passes & plans you need to link to them through your wife. In your MDE, F&F list, click Add a Guest then Connect through another Guest. You should be able to send a request to your wife for her to let you see the kids (add them to your F&F list).

I'm going to piggyback off this. We are family of 6 (4 of whom are young adults). I manage the reservations and much of the planning, but expect to turn them loose a bit. Will likely do the major stuff together like RotR and Pandora. We are booked in 2 rooms: DH and I in one and our 19 year old DDs in the other. What is the best way to manage MDE app and getting our ILL$ and Genie+ times? The travel agent said "Set an alarm alert for Genie + for each time you can make another selection or put the kids in charge. Just use the same login and let them get familiar with the app and Genie+."

Does this make sense, or should they have their own login for if we choose to separate for part of the day?
Thinking they need their own login to use it as room key?

They will have a short time to play with app as they are away at school and in midterm mode before we depart next weekend

Edit: just learned that one of the RA of one of our girls will be there at the same time, staying at same resort. What if they want to plan together or with our family? We don't know the girl or her mom.... could be a lot of fun.... but do I want to share photos and stuff?

Following any replies, as I am going with my adult daughter and her friend in September. I have many of the same questions.

I’m in a similar situation with me, DH, Ds1 , DS 2 and DS1 GF. I’ve decided based on who may take off with who. Basically DS 1 and GF will always be together during take off unless she is off with me and DS 2 will either take off with them or DH or me.
So …. Knowing personalities I know me and DS 1 are the ones who’ll make all selections. So he’s getting the friend request from me with his own acct. I will make all of the basic daily plans, but this will give him the ability to do things needed as well when out and about by themselves or for his brother including mobile ordering. He can pay for his brother, they’ll square up.
Meanwhile I am going to put the app with my login on DS2 phone and he can use if out alone with his dad for mobile ordering or rides
So in our case 2 approaches work good. DS1 will be my basic go-to help person for morning pass grabs as we will all be going in on rope drops together and starting most days together.
