Linking My Disney Experience Accounts

I've searched but I can't find the answer, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

We are a group of 4 families going in August. We want to link our accounts because I will be able to make FP selections the day they open for us.

I sent inviations to everyone and that was all fine. My sister entered her family in and when I went to add guest and add them, it shows up on my friends list and says invitation pending. However, under it it says "you manage this account" I deleted them because I wasn't sure if this meant my sister would no longer be able to add/delete stuff for her family? Or is this just the wording they use?

ETA: Does it just say this until the invitation has been approved?

It says pending until an invitation is 'accepted'. BUT...sounds like you might have the same kind of issue I had. I am traveling with my dd and her best friend in May. Obviously, my dd is listed on my friends and family. And she has her own MDE account. But, her best friend automatically showed up because she is listed on our reservations. I sent her an invitation to join us....I think I may have misspelled her email address because she says she never got the invite. So, I resent it, being careful that I spelled it correctly. It went though just fine. But, now I showed her as pending, and that I manage the account and as she should be showing, and she manages her account. She is on there twice! Great. I finally called Disney IT...they said that happens all the time, and they got ride of the original one that was showing due to reservations.
You might want to call and see if they can straighten your account out.

Thanks. I think that I will give them a call.

I deleted everyone and then looked them up by the confirmation number. When I went to add them it said my sister in the manager of my BIL and nieces.

I added them again, and it says I manage them, but I am thinking that might be becasue they haven't officially accepted my invitations yet.
