Linking friends on MDE

It's been forever since I have had to do this. Can anyone help me find where I can connect with 2 people that are traveling with us? They don't have a room reservation yet, but tickets and park reservation are all set. I vaguely remember sending emails that needed approval for linking?

I need a little help too. I have a resort reservation with another family and I can't link it to my MDE because they haven't linked it to their profiles yet. Should I just add them and then when they finally do link it on their end, we can correct it. It seems odd that I can't link it until they link it themselves.

Go to "My Family and Friends" in your account.

Click "add a guest" and choose the "I'll enter their name and age" option.

I got tired of waiting and entered their info and sent an email. We can clean up the guest info once they link themselves (at least that's my plan).

The MDE app also has a feature for people who are in the same proximity ... you can bring up a QR code on your profile screen which can be scanned by another smart phone to instantly link

I haven’t found a way to fix that from the app, but on the website, I could change it to view shared experiences only.

I just went in and looked at mine. I can press update on my friends and family and change if they see my photos, all my plans, or only shared plans. However, for those under 18 not managed by me, I cannot change the default from see all my plans.

I speak as well as I type..sorry. I went and changed to see only shared plans...next time they log into mde( they don't have the app yet). Will it just list the revised shared trip only? Thanks for the help...can they make going on vacation any more difficult.
