OK so my final Flashback Trip (and the only reason this is my final one is because I did actually TRs for the remaining ones...The links are in my sig for anyone who wants to venture back!) is from May 2006.
The cast was: Me, Lumar, Mike, and Lumar's younger brother, Robby.
We were in WDW from May 14 - May 20, 2006 and we stayed at All Star Movies.
We were in Fantasia but in one of the Toy Soldier buildings.
We had no ADRs so we ate QS for every meal, DHS was still MGM, there was no such thing as EE, and we did a TON of character greets. We had finally learned about FP, but ended up waiting in line for an hour to ride Soarin' because all the FPs were gone by the time we got there. Oh, and it was raining on our Epcot day.
We have a lot of PP pics, but you will see me missing from a lot of pictures so either there was no PP photographer around or I totally missed him/her.
I was also still using film at this point so some of the pics are blurry and of course, scanner quality. And I just thought I would point out that I spent 30 minutes scanning and editing all of these, only to find that I had already scanned them, PRIOR to them going into the scrapbook. Out of spite, I used the duplicates just so that my hard work didn't go to waste!
Here are some MK pics:
This is one of my favorite pics ever:
When we got in line to meet the princesses, Lumar had left the line to go to the bathroom and the CM guarding the line wouldn't let him back in so he missed these two.
Here are some AK pics:
That's us in the middle row. Can you tell this ride
really scares me?
Here are some Epcot pics:
My brother has this thing with hats...I don't know why, but everytime he puts on a weird or silly hat, he has to make some kind of facial expression to go along with it. This was in Canada:
Here are some MGM pics (and I can call it that, because that's what it was at the time of the trip!)
You know how they have those photo ops where you can super-impose your head into a magazine cover or another character's body? Lumar chose this one:
Yes, we went for Star Wars Weekend. Yes, it was fun. Yes, it was extremely crowded!
So there you have it! Of course, that's not ALL of my pics, I have a whole scrapbook done...but those were my favorites.
Robby ended up going to work for WDW as part of the College Program through his culinary school. He worked at Hollywood & Vine and loved it! He had such a great time and it helps him having that he cooked for 800 people a day on his resume! Of course, I remember the morning his flight was leaving Lumar and I brought him to the Limo station which would then bring him to the airport. He was so nervous he forgot his wallet (which took him and Lumar 15 minutes to find), and as we were going through his other stuff, we found that he tried to pack his knife set (as in his kitchen knives) in his carry on! THAT would have been interesting, no?
